Former monarch of Cambodia, Samdech Norodom Sihanouk, expressed his eternal gratitude to the three top CPP leaders who provided justice to him and who supported the ascension to the throne of King Norodom Sihamoni. The Kampuchea Thmei newspaper quoted King-Father, who was seen on TVK station on 17 November 2007, saying that the three Samdachs (Hun Sen, Heng Samrin and Chea Sim) praised the throne and they also provided justice to him (King-Father), in addition to supporting the ascension to the throne of King Sihamoni, enabling King Sihamoni to have the ability to fulfill his duty to serve the nation and obtain success in all his endeavors. King-Father said that he is eternally very grateful to the three Samdachs. King-Father also applauds the effort and the supreme success obtained by the CPP trio in their service to the nation and the Cambodian people.

In a speech given during a ceremony to distribute gifts to 50 poor people from the province of Kompong Cham, on Wednesday, at the royal palace, King-Father said: “Our current royal government came out of the tremendous and very good CPP, and the “Preah” leader of the royal government of Cambodia is Samdach Hun Sen. Samdach Hun Sen is a very famous hero, and Lok Chumteav Thom Bun Rany Hun Sen, they led the nation extremely well, they serve the nation extremely well, with alertness, with brilliant genius, and they work hard, day and night, to serve the people, to defend the nation, to build and grow the nation so that it moves extremely forward.” King-Father is also grateful to the leaders of the CPP who supported his son, Samdach Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, so that he was crowned as the current king of the land.
