On 24 December, China gave 50 electric cars to the government of Cambodia to transport tourists. The donation ceremony was organized at the council of ministers in Phnom Penh. The handing over of the 50 vehicles was done by Yi Chung Seng, the communist party secretary-general of the Hubei province and also a member of the Chinese Assembly Committee, to Sok An, the minister in charge of the council of ministers. Sok An expressed his happiness and welcomed this donation from the Hubei province to the government of Cambodia for use in the region of Angkor Wat, Siem reap province. Sok An expressed his deep gratitude to China which provides important aid, such as these electric vehicles, to the Cambodian government.
