Two youth gangs shot at each other next to Hun Sen park, causing three injuries
Two armed youth gangs confronted each other, yesterday afternoon, near Hun Sen park, in Phnom Penh, causing three bullet injuries. Touch Naroth, Phnom Penh police commissioner, said that the seven youngsters involved in the shooting were charged with “illegal possession of guns” and “attacks and injuries,” but so far, police arrested four of them only. “The parents of the other three (youngsters) intervened to request that they be taken care of (their injuries) at the hospital first. We ask them to be their guarantors. The other four have already been heard by the court,” Touch Naroth said. According to the police commissioner, a dispute about women was the cause of the confrontation and shooting.
