Hun Sen said that those who gamble said that for them to stop gambling, all the casinos should be closed. Hun Sen indicated that even if the casinos are shut down, you still gamble as usual at the Olympic market or at the province of Battambang. Hun Sen said that there are three types of follies: folly about women, folly about alcohol, and folly about gambling. Those who have folly for women have all left, those who have folly for gambling are crazy, and the same for those who have folly for alcohol. He said that those who have follies for women and gambling wouldn’t listen, and you have to let them row the boat against the current. He added that for some, they are getting worst by getting more (women), when the monogamy law was approved, they yelled out that it was political. Hun Sen criticized also that for some, they gamble so much that their wife curse them like animals because they cannot change. Some others gamble until their wife give them a hassle, some had their daughters begging them (to stop), but they turn around and accuse the government. Hun Sen warned that, the next time, when there are gambling raids, everybody will be arrested because their gambling is illegal. Even though Hun Sen didn’t name any name, observers believe that he was pointing at Eng Chhay Eang who is known to be a gambler (in the past).
