Prime minister Hun Sen said that one wrong decision, and you will suffer one lifetime of bad luck. Hun Sen said that the decision made in 1970 to support Lon Nol in the toppling of King-Father from power brought bad luck that last until now, and this bad luck has not ended yet so far. In a speech addressed to local villagers during the stone setting at the Wat Bakong pagoda temple, located in Tbeng commune, Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province, on 11 June, Hun Sen sent this message to the villagers and asked them to remember this lesson. Hun Sen said that a legislative mandate includes 5 years, and if one makes a mistake on any one day of the 5 years, then the entire 5 years will be ruined. Hun Sen said that he hopes the people will not be dumb and they will not accept a reflection on water. At the same time, Hun Sen also called on the CPP leadership and members, as well as the authority and the armed forces to preserve social order, and take action to protect all political parties which are preparing to hold their election campaigns in the next few days, in order to ensure that the 27 July election will proceed freely and fairly, and that there will be no violence.
