During a ceremony held on Tuesday 30 December by prime minister Hun Sen, Hor Namhong, the minister of Foreign Affairs, and the South Korean ambassador to Cambodia will sign a $120 million loan agreement provided by the Republic of Korea economic development cooperation funds.
This loan is targeted for supporting 4 projects: building of a waste water filtration station in the Stung Siem Reap, in Siem Reap; the renovation of several roadways including National Roads 31 and 33; the development of water resources in Stung Daun Try and Kaing Ponley, in Battambang province; and finally, for the restoration of several major bridges in Cambodia.
