A MAN has jumped from a bridge over the Hawkesbury river this morning leaving a woman and two children in a car at the side of the F3.
Police are searching for a man in the water with boats and a helicopter in what is belived to be a case of "self-harm".
The man, believed to be Cambodian, was driving north on the F3 when he pulled over on the Hawkesbury Bridge shortly before 10am.
He jumped off, with the incident reported at 9.55am.
Police have taken his horrified family, who it is believed do not speak English, to Hornsby police station.
