Public Bank unit in Cambodia

KUALA LUMPUR: Public Bank Bhd (PBB) has set up a 55% subsidiary CampuBank Lonpac Insurance Plc in Cambodia to undertake general insurance business in that country.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, PBB said CampuBank commenced operations in Phnom Penh on Aug 30.
The bank said the authorised paid-up share capital of CampuBank was 28 billion Khmer Riel or about US$7mil.
