On Christmas 2008 and New Year 2009, I received several hundreds of e-mails, greeting cards, letters, etc… from Friends, relatives, and even strangers.
In spite of my very serious illness (3rd cancer, lymphoma B), I had to send in writing my thanks and wishes to all these personalities and people.
On each day, my illness currently requires medical exams, care, tests, etc… For example: Monday 12 January 2009 -> medical exams, blood sample. Tuesday 13 January and Wednesday 14 January 2009: stay at the hospital, medical exams, shots, blood sample, chemotherapy, at least 7 hours of perfusion, taking medicines (pills, etc…), each hour, I must drink a lot of water ….
I am very old and I am becoming physically and mentally weaker and weaker…
Those who have pity on me and who really love me, they should, from now on, abstain from sending me e-mails, cards, letters, messages, greetings, autograph requests, etc… etc…
I am thanking them infinitely for their understanding.
