Price of gasoline in Cambodia has increased again after remaining stable for a short while. One liter of the super grade gasoline now costs 5,250 riels ($1.31), whereas the regular grade costs 5,150 riels ($1.29). The price of diesel costs 5,000 riels ($1.25) per liter.
The price of gasoline at the Sokimex and Tela stations are lower than everywhere else, and one liter of super gasoline costs 5,100 riels ($1.28) and the regular gasoline costs 5,000 riels ($1.25) per liter.
On the other hand, the price of rice remains the same. In Phnom Penh, the Phka M’liss top quality rice costs 4,000 riels ($1) per kilo, and the cheapest price rice, the Bonla Phdao rice variety, cost 2,200 ($0.55) per kilo. The price of rice in the provinces is lower than that in Phnom Penh, for example, in Battambang, the top quality rice costs only 3,500 riels ($0.88) per kilo.
