Without naming this anonymous lady “who stole someone else’s husband,” Prime minister Hun Sen said, on Thursday 15 May, that he regretted hearing this woman’s words against him. “She said that she would pull one of my eyes if her husband wins the election and he would return to Cambodia.” The threat was not to Hun Sen’s taste, and he reminded that he suffered all his life long for being victim of several assassination attempts, and for being scorned as a “blind” because he lost an eye. “I am telling you, Madam, that Hun Sen knows about this provocation and that you shouldn’t say that….”
