The police arrested a US citizen man who climbed up the US embassy wall in Phnom Penh. Mok Chito, director of the criminal police department of the Ministry of Interior, told The Cambodia Daily that the man was arrested by the police because he climbed the embassy wall and smashed light bulbs. Mok Chito did not indicate the time of the day when the man was arrested, nor did he provide the man’s identity. He only said that the US citizen man is suspected of having mental problem, and the MoI is still deciding whether to repatriate him back to the US or not.
