King-Father's Cabinet officially denied his return to politics

The following is the text of the Press Release above.

Press Release

Over the last few days, a series of papers published in Khmer language newspapers as well as in foreign languages newspapers, have been speculating about the eventuality of His Majesty King-Father Norodom Sihanouk coming back into politics again.

The Cabinet of His Majesty would like to remind all the distinguished journalists and reporters that ever since he retired in October 2004, His Majesty King-Father Norodom Sihanouk repeatedly stated on countless occasions that He only wishes to live in peace and stay out of politics.

Therefore, the Cabinet of His Majesty would be grateful if all the distinguished journalists and reporters could avoid and even stop raising that kind of groundless speculations anymore.

Why Sihanouk wants return back to Cambodia? What dose he want? Dose he want to be Prime Minister Or movies stars? Why he will not stay with his best friend China and North Korea?
