This is simply an inferior complex in either Non Nget or Tep Vong when push comes to shove to defend own Khmer interests. Bhante Non Nget, Buddhist patriarch who signed the order to defrock Abbot Tim Sakhorn. Read his words slowly, "We point out only those who persecute others, violating the (Buddhist) rule, how can you come and question us about whether he violated the rule or not? Are you laymen who come to give us a hard time? Monks' rules are different from laymen rules, how can you come and give us a hard time? Some even curse the supreme patriarch (Tep Vong) from overseas, it's because of their cursing that they have to flee the country, aren't they ashamed of themselves? … Human rights (organizations) ? There are shootings in Iraq, why don't human rights (organizations) go to work there?" said Non Nget.
Bhante Non Nget's words appear inflammatory and so unbecoming of a leader. His words are not only so flagrant but obscenely senseless. He abuses other rights in denying due process protection before the Constitution. At the same time according to Pancca Sila, he is plainly ignorant of his own codes.
Obviously in the eyes of natural laws each is human endowed with fundamental rights. Undeniably Bhante Non Nget or Bhikkhu Tim Sakhorn is a human first beside a citizen of a sovereign Cambodia where its Constitution guarantees citizen equal protection. Be mindful the Constitution is the Supreme Law of the land categorically. Thus being a religious figure is not exempt from being a human and citizen who warrants full rights in state protection.
This individual Non Nget unnecessary provokes Khmers in abroad, "Some even curse the supreme patriarch (Tep Vong) from overseas, it's because of their cursing that they have to flee the country, aren't they ashamed of themselves? …To his ignorance per Chapter III, article 33,"Khmer citizens residing abroad enjoy the protection of the state." This individual is a disgrace and bully for a Buddhist sake.
Now it comes to a point that Bhante Tep Vong must show how supreme he is as a Patriarch for his own flock protection. Importantly he needs to investigate and demand the return of the accused to be tried in Khmer Court of law. Also he needs to point out to the thick emptied skull Non Nget that Tim Sakhorn, no matter what, remains a Khmer citizen who exercises his rights under the frame of laws.
Lastly it is unnecessary for Bhante Non Nget to assail his own kind who is still innocent until proved guilty. He needs to listen and listen real good who is talking instead of doing his vested duty to defend his own kind. What a hypocrite and so non Buddhist attitude, I say.

Buddism is a very good religion. Therefore this region has lasted for the past 2540 years in history. Now there are hundred of millions followers to worship this religion. In Cambodia, we have many crooked evils have hidded themselve in this hightly respected religion for their own personal agenda and personal goal. Tep Vong and Nong Ngeth were not and are not a good Buddhist. They were instructed by Hanoi to take up these position to foul Cambodian public. Therefore King Sihamony should sack them and defrock them for the sack of saving Buddhism in Cambodia. The King has the responsibility to safeguard the souvereinity of Cambodia and the safeguard of Cambodia independent, but now these two individuals have undermined Cambodian souvereinity and independent by using Cambodian State religion to serve foreign Nation interest.
