The Khmer Kampuchea Krom Buddhist Monk Association on Tuesday accused a Vietnamese radio station of broadcasting false information about defrocked monk Tim Sakhorn.
The monk association demanded the station be more accurate and professional in its work, after the station, Can Tho Radio, said Tim Sakhorn entered Vietnam illegally and lived as a monk in Cambodia.
Tim Sakhorn is being held in Vietnam on charges he entered the country illegally, following a defrocking in Cambodia and an ejection from the country that rights groups fear was forced.
The monk association denied the veracity of the radio broadcast in a statement issued Tuesday.
Can Tho Radio has not issued a response to the group.
The monk association also urged the Vietnamese government to return Tim Sakhorn to Cambodia without conditions.

We have thousands of youn entered srok khmer illegally, and we do nothing. One khmer entering srok youn illegal, he's on the news. I'm sure this is not true. Why would he want to enter srok youn? Damn communist!
To all Khmer Patriots,
Since the International Judges are in Cambodia now, we should ask them it is legal or not for Vietnam to order a "Stupid" monk, Tep Vong, to defrock Ven. Tim Sakhorn and deport to vietnam so Vietnam can "legally" claim that he entered Vietnam illegal.
The Khmer Rouge issues should be judged, but let them judge the real Human Rights violations and the interfering of Vietnam into Cambodia now. Let see how they answer that question.
If the current Cambodia govenment cannot bring Ven. Tim Sakhorn back, all the leaders should be resigned because they have no efforts to protect Cambodian citizen and why the called themselves as the leaders of Cambodia. The King of Cambodia, the head monk of Cambodia, should be responsible for bring back Ven. tim Sakhorn to Cambodia also.
If Vietnam claims that Ven. tim sakhorn came to live in Cambodia since 1979 but he still is a Vietnamese citizen, then Cambodian government should deport all Vietnamese illegal immigrants in Cambodia back to Vietnam.
Remember the news on RFA used to broadcast that hundred of Cambodian refugees from the Khmer Rouge regime are in Vietnam now has none of any legal documents because Vietnam refuse to grant the Vietnamese citizen for Cambodian refugees. Why the heck Cambodian government even scare the Vietnamese illegal immigrants just hold a Vietnamese organization membership, they are allowed to vote in Cambodia.
This problem should be stop. Cambodian patriots need to stand up and tell the world that Cambodia has no peace and independent at all. If Vietnam keeps interfering to Cambodia, we should not let any Vietnamese illegal immigrant stay in Cambodia.
This is what I call "Vietnamese tactics to erase Khmer people from their own land or at least to reduce a tremendous number of Khmer nationality so they can occupy more
land from Khmer and sooner rule our country." Thus all parts of Vietnamese are trying their best to falsifying as much information as they can to blind Khmer people and the international community. If these tactics work, they will do more and more. My message to all Khmer people is to unify between Khmer Krom, Khmer kandal and Khmer leu fight for our freedom and our land. Don't believe yuon trying to tell us this and that. They just con us. They are not friend to us.
For Tim Sakhorn case no body in the world could believe a damn thing with what the Vietnamese claim that
he entered Vietnam illegally. The story began in Cambodia by Tep Vong
and Nuon Nget disrespect their own
citizen by signing a shitty paper and gave the permission to Vietnamese authority to disrobe him
so that devil can persecute the innocent former monk how ever they like. Tep Vong, Nuon Nget and the Cambodian authority are criminals.
They are stink!; smell from Cambodia to all over the world.
