[CPP] Chuob Khon to replace Chhun Syrun

Chuob Khon, the Preah Vihear deputy provincial governor, was moved by the government to a new position as the deputy governor of the city of Phnom Penh, replacing Chhun Syrun who was nominated as the Kandal province governor at the beginning of August. Chuob Khon took over the position from Chhun Syun during an announcement ceremony held at the city hall last weekend. Chuob Khon joined the CPP after 1979, and he used to be the Tonle Bati village chief, located in Takeo province. He occupied the position of vice-chairman of the milk factory for 5-year, and chairman of the Tuol Kok No. 3 textile factory for 7-year. He was also the deputy-governor and governor of the Tuol Kok district for 7-year. In 2000, he was the deputy governor of Chamcar Mon district, and in 2003 he was promoted to the position of 7 Makara district governor. In 2005, he became the deputy governor of Preah Vihear province, and he now received the vote of confidence to become the deputy-governor of the city of Phnom Penh, replacing Chhun Syrun.
