Authorities Thursday were questioning the three men guarding a drug suspect who fell to his death Tuesday, in what police say was a suicide.
The men guarding Oum Chhay, a key suspect in a drugs production case, said they were unable to prevent the accident.
The guards had accepted responsibility for failing to prevent the suicide and were willing to accept demotion or jail time, said Interior Ministry spokesman Khieu Sopheak.
"We did question them. We asked them individually.They admitted that the accident happened so fast and they accept responsibility," he said.
Police said previously Oum Chhay lept from the building while his guards were away using the toilet.
The punishment of the three guards was not yet determined, Khieu Sopheak said.
Oum Chhay's death has weakened an investigation into a methamphetamines lab raided by police in April.
Another leader in the drugs production case, Chea Chong, is being held in Prey Sar prison, undergoing questions, police said.

This drugs trafficker was detained by Police Tek Dara. According to the police spokeperson, all other Police who have guarded him are preparing to accept jailing for that incident to allow Oum Chhay to jump to his death. But in reality, these three police are under instruction of Police chef Tek Dara. Therefore, it is Tek Dara who is suppose to be jailed for his mistake. He must be resigned from Police and be jailed for his negligence. His inferieurs shouldn't be blamed.
Actually, it is a mafia trickle. Oum Chhay would have been killed before dropping him down. It is a way that CPP leaders solved the problem.

You think the CPP don't know Oum Chhay's activities, it was because the CPP is part of it, and when things broke out of course they have to kill the small fish.
Oum Chhey was the Key suspect of all the big ring of drug cartel, Oum Chhey probably the thirth man who served his two big brothers.
Arresting Oum Chhey mean his big brothers are getting in a big trouble,so what so ever Oum Chhey must be silence forever,infact in the Mafia ring if you get caught you are on your own.
So Oum Chhey must be eliminated, Oum Chhey was murdered. Oum Chhey did not commit suicide. There was an orders from the Top ranking government official to eliminate him and the police officers who was guarding him were hired to do the Job.
Oum Chhey was knocked unconscious and thrown out the window.

The play should have cage or some kind of room like creazy house with the soft wall to prevent one to hurth themself!
