Evidence of Keat Chhon's role as Pol Pot's assistant (1)
There is evidence to prove that Cambodian Finance Minister Keat Chhon was a close assistant to Khmer Rouge top leader Pol Pol. For instance, on 30 November 1975, Keat Chhon sent, in the form of a telegram, a report to Pol Pot about "the withdrawal of people from the East to the North". In his report, Keat Chhon mentioned several districts, especially Chhlaung, in Kratie province, which he is a native of. [There is currently a "Keat Chhon University" in Chhlaung]. Keat Chhon signed his telegram by writing only "Chhon". But Pol Pot had only one close assistant whose given name is "Chhon" and who is a native of Chhlaung district in Kratie province.
In other telegrams from the same period of time, a Khmer Rouge commander is referred to as "Pauk", but the whole name of the notorious commander is Ke Pauk, who was in charge of the Northern region.

Norodom Ranariddh at odds with Kem Sokha (1)
Human Rights Party (HRP) President Kem Sokha earlier this week asked Beehive Radio Station, which sells airtime to political parties, to stop broadcasting programs from the Norodom Ranariddh Party (NRP) because Prince Ranariddh's supporters had accused the HRP leader of corruption when he headed the Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR). Sixteen former CCHR employees, including prominent journalists and lawyers, are also accusing Kem Sokha of stealing their salaries and committing other dishonest acts. They have issued several statements to denounce Kem Sokha's corruption and have filed complaints against him at the Court (see KI, 27 October 2007: "Attempt to cover up corruption scandal"; KI, 27 September 2007: "Hun Sen holds Kem Sokha hostage").
There is a leaflet about the HRP, which reads: "He used to steal his employees' salaries; he is now seeking opportunities to steal the whole country; he has formed a shady party to earn his living through corruption under the banner of human rights."
See leaflet in Khmer by clicking here.
Six Funcinpec MPs to defect to NRP (2)
By the end of January 2008, at least six Funcinpec National Assembly members (out of 26) will defect to the Norodom Ranariddh Party (NRP), thus showing their allegiance to their historical leader, Prince Norodom Ranariddh who now heads the NRP. Any defector must reasonably wait until 27 January 2008 before changing side. The election law stipulates that National Assembly members can leave the party under the banner of which they were elected, without losing their parliamentary seat, if their defection takes place less than six month before the next elections (the next legislative elections will be held on 27 July 2008).
Dubious partnership bodes ill for national carrier (2)
To replace the defunct Royal Air Cambodge, the Cambodian government decided last month to launch a new national flag carrier by associating itself with two dubious partners from Indonesia: Rajawali Group and PT Ancora International. The CEO of PT Ancora International is Ith Vichit, who was the Chairman of Royal Air Cambodge. After six years away from Cambodia (since Royal Air Cambodge was declared bankrupt), Ith Vichit has managed to make a comeback and to position himself as a possible CEO for Cambodia's new national carrier. But Ith Vichit is widely seen as the person who had done the most, through corruption, to slowly kill Royal Air Cambodge from 1995 to 2001.

Why do you all take side and put down each party? Is this how we fight to win Youn?
I think who support SR do not know KS from inside out and who support KS do not know SR enough either.
SR uses his name for the party because he had problem with its name before. So he doesn't want it to happen again. If you are in his shoe, you will do the same.
Yes, KS was sued but it doesn't mean he is guilty. If you assume he is guilty, you are the same CPP and its courts where they give no justice to people. Just because someone sue him it doesn't mean he guilty or he did it.
SR hangs on to the power maybe he did not see any one is strong or good enough to take the lead yet.
If you want to know people, get close to them. Don't just make judgement by what you hear.
KS has one wife only. He had a girl friend about 5 years ago. Now they are not together anymore and she also married to another man. Does his wife know? Yes, she does.
SR also has one wife. He also has 2French girl friends. He still secretly meet them when he goes to Paris. Does his wife know? No, she doesn't.
Whenever SR is in Paris, he goes to the night club to see the strip dancing. Why? He need to release his stress like everyone else.
When KS travels a lot in the country, he goes to the massage club. Why? to release stress too.
When SR has not enough money to run party, he sell his lands in Paris, borrow someone, and receive offers from people.
When KS need money to start party, he sell his lands in Cambodia, borrow someone, and get offers from people too. When he built his house, he loaned the bank in Cambodian for more than $100,000. When he put his children to study in USA, he borrowed poeple. He now still owes me $25,000 to pay his daughter's education.
SR and KS meet each other whenever they are outside the country like Paris, Canada and USA. They go to night clubs together. They call each other very often. They are close friend.
If you, KI, are good in getting information, please get the real one about them and tell the world. You know SR so well, so tell the truth and don't just put down one side. Any news like this will not help SRP nor HRP. Please let these two great leaders do their jobs and stop painting their face.
FRIEND of BOTH, SR and KS.
Hahahahaaaaa....this 2 leaders are fucking bad boys.
Dear 6:07 AM
First, Sam Rainsy's knows it now because you say it here.
Second, how do you know all of these? Do you join them in the strip club? Sorry.
CORRECTION
Dear 6:07 AM

It is sad for KS that if he is truly corrupted and greedy, he cannot avoid from CPP's trap. Take Rannariddh as example.
If we compare KS with SR, these two leaders are very different.
SR is a model leader who put aside the money issue, but he has always prioritized on nation interests.
Congratulation SR for your real Khmer leadership qualification!

Unbelievable!!!
What more can we say???
Current Hun Sen's cruel reaction to Yash Ghai signified terrible future for Cambodians. Under Hun Sen's leadership, Cambodia is moving to become Vietnam's Indochina Federation member faster and faster. Few below considering facts should be useful for you all.
* 1. Hun Sen has denounced United Nations about its recognition of Khmer Rouge government is unusual. The original purpose of UN to recognize Khmer Rouge regime during 19 century is essential because the Vietnamese invasion in Cambodia and Khmer Rouge's brutality was two different things. UN considered KR brutality is worse, but Vietnamese invasion in Cambodia is the worst, especially the illegality of Vietnam that spread their troops throughout Cambodia land.
Question: What is Hun Sen's stand point of view about these two controversial issues? - Brutality of KR is ended, but Vietnamese influence is still overwhelming in Cambodia.
* 2. Now, Japanese government's role in Indochina is critical for Cambodians. Japanese has planned their aids not to providing solely to Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam, but Japanese government plans to aid as joint development project including Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. We surely know that Japan needs to counterbalance with China in this region, but what is worse for Cambodia is the fastest of becoming a legal member of Indochina Federation.
Question: Has Hun Sen government used their capacity to monitor all those development projects with Vietnam? - In case of current Triangle and Land Concession to Vietnamese authority is well informed by Cambodian experts.
* 3. According to 2008 Calendar of Cambodia, we can see that the government recognizes January 7 day as the national memorable day that Cambodia can escape from KR brutality, but government has intentionally erased October 23 day in the national day calendar from commemorating. Significance of these two national days are both important that government has to value them. However, October 23 is considered as the second independent day for Cambodians from foreign invader (first independent day is from French which is still celebrated).
Question: Why Hun Sen's government neglect to commemorate Paris Peace Agreement day? - Khmer Rouge brutality is ended, but why Hun Sen's leadership is keeping January 7 as the memorable day. Now, the influences of Vietnam is still huge in Cambodia?
* 4. Hun Sen's leadership in the future is important for us to comprehend that: from current possibility, Hun Sen will change Cambodia to boost in economic development by neglecting human rights, freedom and democracy development. Currently, international aids have concerned only economic growth especially the competitive aids from Japan and China that those aids don't focus on building real democracy in Cambodia. The tendency that Hun Sen government is moving now truly copies from China and Vietnam that they see these two countries' economic growth as their model.
Question: Which one is more important between democracy and economy? - Both are important, but why Hun Sen's leadership is turning to Vietnamese style?
* 5. Current trial of Khmer Rouge will enable nothing better for future Cambodia because it is politicized by government since the beginning. As we can understand, Hun Sen's leadership will not hesitate to try Khmer Rouge leaders because this trial is absolutely benefiting his party (CPP). However, it is not benefiting to CPP only, it is also benefiting to foreign country who came to liberate Cambodians from KR brutality. Psychologically, more trial is loud through the media, the Cambodian peoples have more favors and loves to the CPP as well as Hun Sen. And the legality of invasion is coming near. Recently, Hun Sen cursed the UN's special envoy Yash Ghai as well as UN itself is the intention to dismiss Paris Peace Agreement and UN's presence in 1993. He accuses UN that didn't come to intervene KR during brutality and why now comes to Cambodia and criticize about human rights violation? - This accusation is baseless because during the KR period the world was fully chaotic.
Question: Does KR trial can improve Cambodia justice system? According to current government's attitude towards human rights report in Cambodia, is it fertile for creating the rule of law state? - KR is the best tool for Vietnam to achieve their Indochina Federation in current transitional politics of Cambodia under Hun Sen's Leadership.
* Notes: Hun Sen and his government's current policy doesn't only violate their treaty with UN about human rights, but also violate Cambodian national constitution. Hun Sen and his government has gradually violated Cambodian national constitution.
KY
Wrong, our future will always be 100 times better than Kenya, Ah Chkout's (Ghai's) country. Thus, we shouldn't listen to any loser.
You future just like what happen in Iraq
Hey KY (Khmer Youn?)
Rainsy deosn't have a real khmer leadership. Khmer People know him so well.
All I want right now is to have KI shut up. Cambodians are smart enough to decide who is good and who is bad. If you want to help, you can help explain them how to be brave and vote for whoever they like and not to be afraid of CPP.
What KI is doing right does not help at all. It can only annoy me and some other people. Do you really think people in Cambodia care about what you write on internet? No! So, shut up. Do say things only when they are true. Otherwise, it's best to remain silent if you don't tell the truth. If you have too much free time, you can help those people who sue Kem Sokha to look for a new job. I'm pretty sure they're still unemployed right now. I used to work for CCHR, and I know these people very well. There was no corruption or anything. Some of the main program officers could be very tough and strict, but they were not corrupt. One of the guys who sue Kem Sokha wanted a higher position but was not offered. Therefore, he got mad and started to create problems in the office. Then he was fired. Is it wrong to fire people who cause problem at work? No. So, you KI better shut up if you don't have true information.
Finally, I wish KI would one day learn that being a source of information is to provide the truth, not to help the bad guys like this. My last words to KI: SHUT UP!
Thank you 2:49 PM
