Translated from Khmer by Heng Soy
On 16 October, the SRP issued a statement indicating that the party condemns the aggression of Thai troops on Cambodia’s territories at several locations, and that they caused fire exchanges that led to the deaths and injuries among Cambodian soldiers. The SRP fully support the right of self defense by the RCAF from the firing and aggression of the Siem army, and the party praises and pays high respect to the heroism and sacrifice by Khmer troops in the defense of Cambodian territories. The SRP also calls on the government to support the families of soldiers who sacrificed their lives, as well as to provide decent living conditions for the families of Cambodian soldiers now in the frontline. The SRP demanded that the Cambodian government takes the issue of aggression on Khmer territories with the UN without further delay, as well as asking the co-Presidents of the 1991 Paris Peace accords on Cambodia to immediately review the case of the Cambodian territorial integrity which is fully guaranteed by these accords.

It's about time SRP to show its stands on the issue. For the best interest of our nation we must stand together and speak with one powerful voice to the aggressor. SRP, we agreed with your statement and you have our support ( Cambodian new generation living abroad).
It is not about time for SRP because our Prime Minister Hun Sen is calling all the shot!
Please don't interfere with our Prime Minister Hun Sen when he is working! Thank you!

All monkeys must stop trying to steal Preah Vihear from Khmer in Thailand.
The problem is also with current Khmer leader who want to show off against historical aggressor. The incident would not have happened if the government requested the UN for intervention in July. It's not too late to request for their help in order to avoid bloodshed. Either side is Khmer. Only Khmer surins are in frontline. That's reason why Khmer didn't kill those captured soldiers. My concern is that many young Cambodians quited their school to enlist for military service. We need them to build a strong Cambodia if peace can be achieved. Hun Sen should wake up and go for UN or EU's help. You can still go for golfing, digging wells for the poor, and let the UN do the job. Only international police can stop thieves.
7:28 got to be on drug. The UN can't even stop the Khmer Rouge from slaughtering innocent people, how are they going to stop this dispute, not to mention the stupid UNESCO that ignited the flame.
