The gathering for a demonstration against Abhisit Vejjajiva, the Thai PM who will arrive in Phnom Penh on Friday morning, cannot take place because all the roads leading to the location of the gathering selected by the Cambodian Confederation of Unions (CCU) were all closed by the cops. Streets leading from in front of the Royal Palace to the Wat Botum Pagoda were closed by large number of anti-riot cops. Rong Chhun, CCU President, called for a gathering to demonstrate against the Thai PM on Friday. The gathering was planned to take place in front of the old National Assembly building and the protesters will march to the new National Assembly building. However, the gathering could not take place this morning because all roads leading to the meeting location were closed by a barrage of security cops.

Mr. Rong Chhun, if you realy love khmer and khmer land, why not you change your carrier from CCP manager to voluntery soldier/army and you must stand in the front-line force at the Preh Viher border especially at Veal Entry Battle point?

Both Rong Chhun and Hun Sen regime are acting just to mislead Khmer public from real encroachment and annexation of Cambodian territories by VietCom.
What Rong Chhun and his group do is just self-publicity. Nothing substantial to Khmer benefit.
Did Cambodian people vote for AH HUN SEN or did Siem people vote for AH HUN SEN?
If Cambodian people didn't vote for AH HUN SEN and they have the right to remain silent and what they says can be used against them!
the khmer authority should have left the demonstrators alone. it was their rights to make protest and demonstration to let the thai prime minister aware that cambodia and our khmer people are not happy with them trying to steal khmer lands, temples, etc! authority should allow that and just watch them demonstrating peacefully. i mean we have to let thailand and their leaders know that we are not happy with their inability to disfuse tension with cambodia. thailand needs to respect the international law, treaty, etc, you know! god bless cambodia.
