Last night I went to see Dengue Fever band performed on stage at the Factory Theatre in Marrickville Sydney.
At 10:00pm the band had started with their vocal Khmer singer, Ms. Chhom Nimol.
The crowd enjoyed and danced along with her in Khmer. 90% was khmer songs.
I'm so proud to see a Koun Srey Khmer and her band, Dengue Fever,who brings Khmer songs from the 60s-70s into the world stage music.
She is a real Khmer Hero who is reviving the Golden Age of Khmer music.
That night I felt the presence of our late Ream Chhbang of Khmer Music on the same stage: they were smiling at her and thanked to her devotion in preserving Khmer Music.
She was surrounded by Lauk Sin Sisamouth, Lauk Srey Ros Sereisothea, Lauk Voy Ho, Lauk Mer Bun and many others.....

It is you who are a redneck not the people of the band Dengue Fever. These people accept Chhom Nimol to sign in their band despite she's not the same color as them. That is so amazing when I imagine if you point one finger at them,your 3 other fingers point back at you naturally.
BTW you seem to look down at her when she sang at the restaurants at LBC, is there any thread to you, to America, Cambodia or the world with her action huh?

Good on you Chhom Nimol, The Dengue fever must treat you very well. I am very please to see you are touring the world and promoting Khmer culture through the songs of '60 and '70.
The most relieving for me is to see you're striving with your beauty and talent and successfully ESCAPING from the notorious Khmer thugs old or young who are abusing many Khmer young artists like Pesith Peaklika, Touch Sunnik, Peo Pagna Peich etc... and not following the footstep of Meng Keo Pich Chenda who had robbed the Khmer women's reputation especially female artist and wanna be a fake Chom tieve with scandals which revealed publicly not so long ago.
My very best wishes to the band and the singer who have their heart for Khmer people and culture.
Hate to point this out but Sacrava looks so old now. How come? He better puts on some makeup or something. I hate old age.

Don't be so cynical about our Khmer people. I really admire and congrattulate her for her talent and sharing our Khmer culture to the Khmer community and the world community at large.
Nimol is the first Khmer Singer to be able to take our culture out of our country and share by many. Not bad for also having such a great time. Great job everyone and thanks so much to all band members who believe in Nimol and love our songs. God bless!

I'm fucking hate any bitch that date with other foriegner. Back in the late 80 or 90 I used to be a bouncer at La Lune in Lowell Ma. I don't see any Khmer bitch dear to bring those Foreigner to the party but now I fucking seen alots don't they ever look at these self it doesn't fucking match look like one is Bufflo and one is fucking Cow. Some Khmer woman not even 5 Feet they fucking date those Foreigner like over 6 Feet fucking dumb ass people.
