ASEAN’s approach to a democratic Myanmar

The ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Myanmar Caucus (AIPMC), a group of legislators from various ASEAN member-states interested in the process of democratization in Myanmar, has been calling on Myanmar’s military regime to bring about changes and democratic reforms in the country since its establishment in 2004. In engaging the 32nd ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly General Assembly, AIPMC will hold a press conference to present views to ASEAN and the international community.
