the oppositon are so stupid and igorant and outdated or behind time because they still live in the dark ages era, you know. they often whine about anything and everything like a spoiled child. they lack real life experience and lack education, perhaps. they like to blow situation out of proportion to create chaotic scene just like they own mind is chaotic and overwhelmed with stupidity and ignorance, etc, you know. i told you, come see cambodia for your self and stop relying on this ignorant, outdated thinking group of whiners, you know.
Kurt Campbell, in his typical bureaucratic letter,seemed to say a lot but nothing specifically in term of Samdach Aggak Pakdepak Sam Sainsy's return to his sender.
US shows no interest in individual interest,as usual, when comes to Cambodia politics.
This trash is a cop-out from the US States Dept.
It is very clear because it's so hollow (no substance in it).
It did not address WHY it (the US)is continuing to appease Xen and the Viets at the expense of innocent Khmer people.
It did not say IF and WHEN it would do anything different.
However (this is a real mockery of Khmer intelligence) that we the Khmer who are dreaming of freedom and democracy, just have to keep on playing the type of game Xen is playing, while it (the US the moral icon of the freeworld) LOOKS ON!
Thank Mr. Campbell, but no thank, we ordinary Khmer (except SRP and a few loyal fans of the USA) have learned long ago that you and your government are a bunch of HYPOCRITE....
20 years after the signature in 1991 of the Paris Peace Agreement, Cambodia is still one of the poorest countries in the world and needs significant assistance from the international community to survive. This situation is contradictory with the great potential of the country, especially in terms of archaeological, natural, agricultural and human resources.
The causes of this situation are obviously linked to the dictatorship, which is perpetrated by Hun Sen and his political party, CPP, for more than 30 years now. They hold absolute power with their tight control all over the institutions of the country, especially Justice and Army which are used for political purposes to eradicate Democracy for which all Cambodians have aspirations.
Their methods are well known: political assassination, usage of the justice system to intimidate and oppress people, hijacking of election process for the advantages of CPP, systemic corruption and so on.
The consequences of this dictatorship are the accumulation of power in the hands of a small group of leaders and their clan with a high concentration of economic and financial assets, which is self-sustained by the systemic corruption. All of this practice is perpetuated to the detriment of the whole population, who become poor and don’t have any future because all Cambodia’s resources are decreasing due to the plundering for political and personal purposes.
With this dictatorship, Cambodia and Cambodian population become economically weak as its resources are decreasing. The economic and political weakness and the overwhelming poverty of the population will reduce the position of Cambodia while the economic and territorial hegemony of the neighboring countries is growing continually.
Given these dramatic perspectives, SRP can not be indifferent without doing something. All Cambodians are heartedly invited to get involved with stronger determination in our political struggle to definitely put an end to this dictatorship. SRP and all its members invite all Cambodians to get united and to support Sam Rainsy for the democratic and patriotic values and the hope for the independence and the development of Cambodia he represents.

the oppositon party is a bunch of run-away, incompetent and perhaps ignorant group of unruly people. they are racist, discrimatory, biased, prejudice, outdated whiners. and they always like to run away and hide overseas. and they whine a lot so cambodian people do not like them and won't vote for them to win, you know. just look at the way they do not respect cambodia's law, they look down on khmer people in cambodia, they use racial card, especially the outdated or old style of using their youn paranoia to attack and whine about everything and anything anybody does in cambodia. we all can see their true color, really. i'm glad america and the rest of the civilized world out there does not buy into those stupid, incompetent opposition group of unruly people. i'm glad the world is actually come to see cambodia for themselves now, instead of buying the biased, prejudice, racist rumor from those incompetent, primitive and ignorant group of unruly people with their self-proclaimed baboon leader called scam rainsy. cambodian people won't vote for them if they continue to show or display their stupidity, their ignorant, their outdated youn paranoia, their incompetency, their ignorance, etc, etc, you know. i know i won't be voting for them for sure, you know. god bless cambodia.
