A Mis-opportunity for Cambodia
After gaining the national Independence from France, late King Norodom Sihanouk became the single most beloved and powerful man in modern Khmer history.
Khmers worshiped him like their God King.
Khmers were all UNITED as a nation.
If he only had good vision for his country, he could and should have prepared his country against the traditional enemy, Vietnam.
Prior to and during the Vietnam war, he probably had the best chance as ever to prevent and protect his country from the Vietnamese long standing annexation of Cambodia.
Instead of siding with the West, namely the United States, he decided to side, clandestinely with the North Vietnamese and the Vietcongs.
This mis-opportunity and the lack of good vision for his country, late Head of State Norodom Sihanouk made Khmers and the Khmer Nation pay dearly, today.
Yes, he did good things for his country, but
the worse he did immeasurably outweighed the good.
Most Khmer, like ones in this blog, are mentally ill, that is why they lost the country. Khmer would rather cheer death of the tiger and not worry about being killed by the living monster- the Sen and the Yuon.

Every time you posted your comment we only see you defend Yuon, and ignore the facts that were written by the power players (US.
