CPV congratulates Cambodian People’s Party

(VOV) - The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee has sent a congratulatory message to the Cambodia People’s Party (CPP) Central Committee on the 60th founding anniversary of the party (June 28).

The message says the CPV and Vietnamese people congratulates the CPP on its great important achievements and believes that the CPP will overcome difficulties and challenges to lead the Cambodian people to gain greater achievements in national construction and development.

The Vietnamese Party, State and people will exert their best together with the Cambodian Party and people to preserve and constantly develop the fine neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term stability between the two Parties, States, and peoples for mutual interests and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, the message says.

Party General Secretary and National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong congratulated CPP Chairman Chea Sim, CPP Honorary Chairman Heng Samrin and CPP Vice Chairman Hun Sen.

Cambodia PM receives CPV delegation

A delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) led by Hoang Binh Quan, a member of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for External Relations paid a courtesy visit to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on December 1.

The CPV delegation is in Phnom Penh to attend the sixth General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties which is being held in Phnom Penh from December 1-4 with 85 representatives from 35 nations around the region.

At the reception, PM Hun Sen thanked the Vietnamese Party and State for timely sending its condolences to the Cambodian government and people after the recent serious stampede in Phnom Penh.

The PM said the relationship between the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) and CPV is very special and expressed his wish that the 11th National Party Congress of the CPV will be held successfully early next year.

CPV sends greetings to Cambodian People’s Party

The Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee has sent a congratulation message to the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) on its 56th founding anniversary.

The message said over the past 56 years, under the leadership of the CPP, the Cambodian people fought a hard struggle and obtained glorious victories in national liberation, saving the country from a genocidal regime. The country has also gained remarkable achievements in implementing the policy of peace, national reconciliation and development.

The CPP’s victories have not only been significant to Cambodia and its people, but also helped boost the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states and people, as well as maintain peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world, said the message.

The CPV Central Committee said it believed that with the traditional solidarity, experiences and lessons from the past struggles and with people’s support, the CPP would lead Cambodia to overcome difficulties and achieve the goal of building an independent, peaceful, neutral, non-aligned, prosperous nation that has friendly relations with other countries.

The CPV and the Vietnamese people would always do their best to constantly develop the neighbourliness, traditional solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two parties, states and people concluded the message.
