Ha Noi (VNA) - A minute on the exchange of documents ratifying a consular treaty between Viet Nam and Cambodia was signed in Ha Noi on May 26.
It was signed by Vietnamese Vice Foreign Minister Nguyen Phu Binh and Cambodian Ambassador to Viet Nam Long Kem.
Addressing the signing ceremony, Vice Minister Binh said the ratification to make the treaty valid was a significant event. It reinforced the 1963 Vienna Convention on consular relations and would facilitate authorised agencies of the two countries to develop bilateral consular cooperation.
The Vietnamese official expressed hope that once the treaty comes into effect on June 25, it would have a practical effect in the two countries and would contribute to strengthening and expanding the strong relationship between the two neighbouring countries.
The treaty is the second that Viet Nam has signed with a member country of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).-Enditem

The Vietcong can say all they want but their action never match what they have said! There should be no further cooperation with the Vietcong in anyway! Cambodian people had been studying and understand about these Vietcong like the back of their hand! The Vietcong trickery is for little children who borned yesterday!
Cambodian people don't need anything from the Vietcong and never will! These Vietcong can cooperate with Cambodian people in the area of Khmer Krom people's right and the basic human right and their independent status from the Vietname! The Vietcong can no longer deny the subjugation of million and million of Khmer Krom people! God demand the Vietcong to free the Khmer Krom people! Free Khmer Krom people now before God condem all of you to hell!
All Khmers must rise and stop this madness committing by the CPP now. The CPPs are the Viet's agents in Cambodia to Vietnamize all Khmers. Kampuchea Krom is not enough, the Viets want Cambodia too. The Viets are "planting seeds" in Cambodia and the CPPs are the main agents of the Viet's infiltrations and Vietnamization of Cambodia at this stage.
This border-signing acting by the Viets with Khmer is the identical behaviour to Viets' past border-signings with former Champa borders--which resulted the total loss of Champa state. All Khmers must learn about the Viets' trickery behaviours. The Viets would make deal where benefits on Viets' side, else it is not a true deal!!!
How about Kampuchea Krom(south Vietnam) deal???Can the Viets talk about this issue???Kampuchea Krom issue has been dealt yet between Khmer and Viets???Khmer is still the owner of Kampuchea Krom.

If no Vietcongs the CP will be gone, so by doing this way, just to share some khmer lands so that the vietcong help them with ideas, on how to keep controll the country and let the vietcong live in khmer land for their properity..that's all..eeyor!
