More than 1000 military cops move in to evict the Sambok Chap squatters (AFP)

Cambodian people carry their belongings as they are evicted by police forces from a slum in the Cambodian capital Phnom Penh. More than 1,000 police, many armed and in riot gear, evicted hundreds of families who had refused to leave a Phnom Penh shantytown, as authorities moved to end a standoff that has stalled millions of dollars in commercial development.(AFP)
