Chapter 1

The first Question asked is evidently the following: “Will this Party have enough members and supporters to be credible and viable?”

Let’s not talk about the Funcinpec “who could commit suicide” in order to become and integral part of Thomico’s Party. Such an event will not happen. Maybe, there will be a very small number of Funcinpec members who do not have any chance for a “place in the sun” through the benevolent solicitude of Samdech Hun Sen, who, under despair, will rally to our famous Thomico. As for the Khmer People themselves, with a few exception to the rule, they will prefer counting on the extreme generosity of the help provided by the CPP, by Samdech Hun Sen and Lok Chumtiev Bun Rany Hun Sen and her Red Cross, rather than joining Thomico’s Party, even though the latter calls for the SRN (Sangkum Reastr Niyum).

In the end, it will remain a few anti-Hun Sen who are determined to remain “anti(-Hun Sen).”

Humanity would not be human if a Personality could only have those who are “for” (that Personality), and nobody “against” (that Personality).

The fact that he has (people) “against” (him) does not prevent Samdech Hun Sen from sleeping (at night) because Samdech Hun Sen knows very well that N. Sihanouk himself cannot avoid having an “appreciable” amount of “anti(-Sihanouk).”

This being said and observed, I must recall that in the 90s, I had “the honor” of paternally inviting … 23 Khmer party leaders for a Gala dinner at the Royal Palace. One of these 23 (leaders) declined my invitation, because he was … anti-Sihanouk.

The conclusion of this “Chapter 1” is the following: my dear nephew and adopted son S. Thomico will be able, for sure, to give birth to his Party … however, for this Party to become important, it will be “something else.”

(To be continued)

Why is the former king always written in French as suppose to Khmer? Does he only want the French to read his writing? Doesn't he like writing in khmer? Does he wants to show off how good he is in French to the world? He needs to write khmer if he wants to communicate anything to khmer people. He's not French. Don't forget where you come from, Asshole!
