More Anti-Hun Sen Leaflets Scattered in Phnom Penh

By Phann Ana
The Cambodia Daily

Police on Thursday were investigating another scattering of anti-Hun Sen leaflets on Wednesday night in Phnom Penh's Chamkar Mon district. The leaflets accused the government of stealing World Bank funds and likened the prime minister's ruling CPP government to a fascist regime. Last month, police reported collecting 120 such leaflets scattered in Dangkao district on June 14. In May, police reported finding leaflets in three Phnom Penh districts that called for the prime minister to be tried by a "people's court." "It’s the same group," said Deputy Municipal Police Chief Hy Prou. The motives of the leaflet distributors are not clear, said Hy Prou, who refused to reveal the number of leaflets scattered around the district. "We have a suspect but it's not clear yet," he said. Uch Sokhom, deputy Chamkar Mon district police chief, said police had collected more than 30 leaflets from a street in Tuol Svay Prey I commune, though he was unaware of their content or when they were left.

Why does it have to be anyone in the political party!!! Dam these suckers! Don't they think us students have the capacity and audacity to speak against our oppression? Changes starts with the young people and we Cambodian youths are realizing that and the power of our activism and not apathism. It is now underground. But soon i know Cambodian students and cambodian citizens are tire of this crap regime that has been ruling us almost our entire life. It's time we're demanding changes and we're making it known.

I urge all Cambodian youths to come out and be active. Underground or spoken. Don't letyour country be ruin because you odn't have the gut to confront the politicians who had their powers from YOU!!!!!
