Vietnamese and Cambodian leaders on July 7 affirmed their determination to consolidate the traditional friendship and to continue long-term co-operation between the two countries in the 21st century.
The Vietnamese State President, Nguyen Minh Triet, expressed warm sentiments to the Chairman of the Cambodian National Assembly, Samdec Heng Samrin, who led a delegation of legislators in paying an official visit to Vietnam from July 6.
President Triet welcomed Chairman Samdec Heng Samrin who was visiting Vietnam for the first time in his new capacity as legislative chief. He described the visit as a significant manifestation of the friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
President Triet expressed his pleasure at the recent socio-economic achievements of the Cambodian Government and people. He said he believed that the Cambodian people would continue to develop Cambodia as a nation of peace, independence, democracy and prosperity. Cambodia would continue to contribute to the common welfare of the region and improve its role and prestige in the international arena, President Triet stressed.
The Vietnamese State leader was highly appreciative of the Cambodian Senate, National Assembly, Government and people's friendship to Vietnam as well as their help during the past struggle for national independence and the current process of national construction and development.
He affirmed Vietnam's consistent policy of friendship, solidarity and international co-operation, particularly with its neigbouring countries such as Cambodia.
The Cambodian legislative leader thanked the Party, the State, the Government and the people of Vietnam for their spiritual and material support for the Cambodian people during their struggle for national liberation and their national efforts at construction and development.
The Cambodian legislature, Government and people have always enjoyed the benefits of co-operation and solidarity with Vietnam, Chairman Samdec Heng Samrin said, adding he believed that solidarity, friendship and traditional co-operation between the two sides would continue to grow in a positive way.
The two leaders expressed great satisfaction with development of the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship. They said they wanted the two countries to strengthen this in all areas, particularly economics, and to continue to contribute to the strengthening of peace, stability, co-operation and development in the Southeast Asian region and the world. I don't think AH Cha Vek is smart enough to negotiate with VN as he is just a former Ah Cha at a rural pagoda...

For a place at the table with the Vietcong, AH HENG SAMKIS can only thank the Vietcong for himself! So out of any meeting between him and the Vietcong is for his personal benefit not for Cambodian people!
The Vietcong and AH HENG SAMKIS think that they can fool the world and Cambodian people by a simple handshake. ahahha Keep on smiling and keep on fooling Cambodian people AH HENG SAMKIS and you know for yourself already that you came back to Cambodia with empty handed and only the gratitute for the Vietcong! I never thought that you are such an old fashion kind of bastard!
Vietnam is very satified at the outcome of this meeting with Heng Samrin, that because Cambodia has seal a deal with VN to give them more land and to start the de-markation of the border. Obcourse, VN will be happy because Khmer Leader are stupid and always have to be control by others inorder to run its own country.. Like Sihanouk for example...He has to be controll and direct by French.!!
