Anonymous leafleters have struck again, blanketing a rice paddy in Pursat province with 50 anti-government leaflets that blame Prime Minister Hun Sen for the death of former Khmer Rouge military chief Ta Mok and accuse the government of plotting to kill other surviving regime leaders, police said. The latest batch of anonymously authored leaflets were found Monday along Pursat's National Route 5 in Krakor district. They were identical to those scattered through Phnom Penh's Meanchey district on Thursday, Krakor district police chief Bin Vanna said. "It's near the election, something strange comes out," he said. Government spokesman and Information Minister Khieu Kanharith said that Hun Sen was unfazed by the leaflets. "Prime Minister Hun Sen is used to a lot of insults from everywhere, including international media," he said. The anti-Hun Sen leafleters first struck in three Phnom Penh districts last May, again in Dangkao district in June, and in Chamkar Mon district in early July.
