Major General, Ministry of Interior's under Secretary of State, and former Phnom Penh police commissioner Heng Pov, was issued an arrest warrant by the Phnom Penh court, suspected on murder charges, and detention in exchange for money, allege court police officials.
The arrest warrant was issued after 6 police officers under this well known police commissioner's command, were convicted for 12 years imprisonment each for murdering a woman in 2004.
Mr. Heng Pov reportedly fled abroad.
Mr. Heng Pov was Prime Minister Hun Sen's adviser.
Mr. Hun Sen appeals to King Sihamoni to remove Mr. Heng Pov's positions as his adviser and the Ministry of Interior's under Secretary of State.
King Sihamoni has already signed the agreement on July 27 this year.
Police and Phnom Penh court officials, say on condition of anonymity that the authorities are reported searching Mr. Heng Pov's two houses Monday, with no details given, but that they have freezed one million U.S. dollars in his name at one bank in Phnom Penh.

How does a civil servant in Cambodia earned his $1 million?!
If you own a millions dollars in your bank account, then you have no excuse that you are a good policeman. You must be a criminal to be able to own that much of monies. Why you need to do all illegal activities to amass monies which you cannot spent in one day? This example is to give other policeman not to corrupt again. I heard that Hok Lundy has made US$ 80 millions per year and all his monies are being invested in Vietnam for Vietnamse modernisation?
The day are closing in on AH HUN SEN! More to come!
Pig! oink! oink!
This is just a conflict of interest between high rankings of Cambodian mafia led by Hunsen.
There will more such events in the future clean up of corruption made by the ruling party CPP.
The first victims are FUNCINPEC's members the second are those of CCP's members who refuse to pay to Hunsen.
If anyone wants to understand what happen in Cambodia, you have to understand what is the Mafia's rule?
Cambodia is ruling by a group of mafia composed of Hunsen's gang, Cheasim's gang and Rannariddh's gan.The most powerfull gang is the Hunsen's.The latter wants to eliminate other two gangs.
If there will a justice made by Cambodian people that will surprise the world because just over 12 years each Mafia member made hundreds of millions dollars.Part of that money is from tax payers of western or rich countries.
We have congratulate Cambodian Mafia that can cheat the leaders of the so called Doner Countries.
It is about time that all criminal of Hun Sen will start to kill each other like all of those of Pol Pot. Pol Pot has created a group of kilers in the 1975. By 1979, most of Pol Pot have killed each other. Now it is the turn of Hun Sen to kill each other. Now they started to eliminate Sar Kheng power by arresting all Sar Kheng power base ( Heng Pov ), after that will be Sao Sokha etc...
it is no suprise for this event. It is like the justic reform and some court people involved corruption and did mistake, but all of back to work ....etc.Good to hear, but wait to see how effective of implementation againt corruption and justic reform on this case....
