A Battambang province quarry owner kidnapped last week was released unharmed after his abductors were paid a ransom by his family, provincial military police commander Por Vannak said Sunday. Sang Than was set free on Thursday evening after his family paid about half of the $300,000 ransom demanded by the kidnappers, according to Kors Kralor district military police commander Phan Pha. Por Vannak said investigating the kidnapping has proved difficult because Sang Than, 56, has refused to cooperate with officials. On July 31, seven masked gunmen dragged the quarry owner into a waiting vehicle and stole his car. Sang Than and his family could not be reached for comment.

AN INSURANCE COMPANY NEEDED TO MOVE IN TO CAMBODIA NOW!!!.
THAT WAY WE CAN PUT POLICES AND DETECTORS TO NOT WORKING JUST FOR THE STUPID GOVERNMENT, BUT FOR THE INTEREST OF PROTECTING MR.SANG AND THE INSURANCE CAMPANY OR OWNER.
ANY SUCH CRIME OCCURS, EVERYONE WILL GET INTO THE BUTTOM OF IT AND INTO IT HONESTLY AND RESOLVE IT PEACEFULLY WITH TRUE JUSTICE!!!
How about establish a real school for lawyer in Cambodia? KHMERS NEED NEW JURIDICIAL OR COURT SYSTEM AND A LOT OF LAWYERS.
FUTURE KHMERS' LAYERS DON'T WORK FOR THE DUMP GOVERNMENT, BUT FOR PRIVATE INSURANCE CAMPANY AND SOMEONE LIKE MR.SANG AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE THAT NEED ONE.
Every Khmer citizen should have a lawyer and a doctor.
THIS IS WHERE AN INDEPENDENCE COURT SYSTEM SHOULD START!!!!!!!! AND THIS IS WHERE KHMERS'POWER OF SWORD SHOULD START!!!!
What are our Cambodian kids study in school? What subject? learn how to do farming all the time? or learn how to be a Vietcong? We don't even teach the history of our very own Pol Pot Ara!!!!!!!! what are we?
This is a new Millennium Khmers!!!!!!!!! We should seriously look around, shop around and truely wake up!
Cambodia needs to have a better attitude, speak better cambodian language and run away from the dump , the old and ugly Khmer past!!!
I don't know about you, but i'm changing and i'm determined to be forever Khmer's first class citizen!!!!!!! God help me and all Khmers!!!!!!!!
