Heng Pov 'Bombs' Won't Topple Gov't: Sihanouk

Fugitive former Phnom Penh police chief Heng Pov's reported accusations of corruption against Prime Minister Hun Sen and others are "atomic bombs" that will fail to topple the Cambodian government, retired King Norodom Sihanouk said Sunday. "An 'atomic bomb' that wants to destroy our current regime (but this will be in vain) is called HENG POV (or Poeu?)," the former King wrote in a statement to the press. The "sinister" ex-policeman has only bombed the pages of foreign newspapers, he wrote. "Present-day Cambodia has no 'HIROSHIMAS' or 'NAGASAKIS' to put at his disposal." Heng Pov, who is currently in hiding, has twice spoken to reporters since Aug 7, accusing Cambodia's current leaders of corruption and killing. Cambodian officials have said the charges are part of his attempt to gain political asylum in order to avoid prosecution for his own alleged crimes.

Hi 11.03 Poster, You are right. This fucker is no longer Khmer. He wants khmer to suffer. This fucker is a former KR leaders who has authorized all killing in Cambodia. The Khmer rouge have killed all khmers under his instruction. We, as Khmer must join hand together make a court proceeding against him in Overseas. Even we cannot win a case agaisnt him ( he may declare bankrupt ), we can uphold the true history of Cambodia that the people of this country have been killed by their own king Sihanouk for revenge.

If these allegations will not topple AH HUN SEN regime, then what will? These are some of the most serious allegations against AH HUN SEN!
This is my understanding! AH HENG POV and AH HUN SEN and the rest of the cronies all have benefitted one way or another through corruption, killing, and drug dealing...! Now who should the people trust! Should the people trust AH HENG POV's story or Should the people trust AH HUN SEN's story?
Here is my suggestion! Let squeez AH HENG POV for all he worth then give AH HENG POV political asylum but to avoid prosecution is no, no, and no! In the meantime, the free world can keep AH HENG POV until the new government in place by 2008 and the free world can extradite AH HENG POV back to Cambodia to face his crimes! This is a win-win deal for Cambodian people!
I just hope AH HUN SEN won't be in power in 2008 because AH HENG POV will be a death duck! There won't be any trail or court proceeding but pure execution and assassination! aahahahahah
