Kennedy To Rice: Make Hun Sen Listen

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Mark Kennedy entered the following statement into the Congressional Record, urging U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to rally the world community to remind Cambodia's Hun Sen regime of its obligations to its people.

"Mr. Speaker, as we stand here today, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and other representatives of the United States are attending the annual Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Kuala Lumpur.

"As a Representative from a state with a large and vibrant Cambodian community, I have been very closely following issues on the ground in Cambodia.

"For some time, I have been deeply concerned about Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen's policy of undermining democratic principles and justice.

"Having met with leaders like Sam Rainsy, Mu Sochua and Kem Sokha, I have heard their chilling reports of routine violations of the Cambodian constitution's guarantees of freedom of expression and association. I have been outraged by Hun Sen's arbitrary arrests and violations of fundamental human dignity and respect.

"I urge the Secretary of State to use the ASEAN forum to rally the world community to remind the Hun Sen regime of its obligations to its people.

"The government must immediately end its systematic campaign to undermine democracy, the rule of law, and human rights in Cambodia. The Secretary should remind the regime that the American people, the world community, and the donor community that has provided $2 billion in aid to Cambodia is watching."

That's true. The donor community that has provided $2 billion in aid to cambodia is watching. But will they do something or just watching and give more aid to the King of Corruption.

Cambodia is failing since 1992. The united Nation must call all countries around the world to freeze all assets and monies belong to all Cambodian officials from 1992 until today who owned assets and monies in all foreign countries as well as in Cambodia and call Cambodia for a immediate reform of their police and armies. At present, these two arms forced are being used by politicians for their financial gains instead of promoting freedom, democracy and social justice for the harmony of Cambodia. The former king who was a great leader of the killing regime is always making fun in front of his victims for his stupid leadership regime of 1970-1976.

Dear Mr. Kennedy,

Please stay the hell out of other country's internal affairs. Please tell your government to do the same. All you want from the Cambodian comunity is VOTE. It is all you care. Your democracy means nothing if you use it in a double standard. Please clean your table first before tell others to do the same. Clean up your mess in the Isreali/Palestinian conflicts first and talk about the democracy. Don't you see people who define democracy are in fact killing people there? Your president is more evil that the less educated blind man in Cambodia. How could we believe his definition of democracy?

Cheers for peace!

I am in debt to your concerns about us Khmer people. Over 3 decades, our beloved country and the citizens have suffered greatly from the Dictator and his compatriates. I don't needs to ellaborate very in these matter. I am sure you've heard from the VIPs that love democracy.

I like to ask you to bring it up with the legislatures to send Special Ops to Cambodia. I am Khmer American would like to request that you recommend to train more Snipers to care of Hun Sen. It's the only way to solved this guy and his family. We need to do to him like Stalin's family.

Thank you so much Mr. Kennedy for trying to open the ears and eyes of our not so bright leader.

Mr.Hun Sen still live in a fantacy world of communism. That is very very bad and very very sad. This is 2006 and Cambodia isn't a communist country.

HE TRUELY is NOT A LEADER THAT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING.

I suggest that Mr.Hun Sen should ook up to The American Embassy in Phnom Penh. He might want to really study it too. He perhap will find the true meaning of it behind the stars and the stripes of her Flag. He will be surprised to know how magnificant and how wonderful it it, before it's too late.

Freedom and respect the right of other human being are much much better and far more greater than he may think.

If he deon't like it or deosn't think that it is right than he shouldn't be a leader of The free world. He need to realize that he is a wrong man for the Cambodian nation and her people. He should certainly step a side and give way to other leader that is truely a free and democracy man. Am I saying it right?

While everyone is screeming and kicking away, Hun Sen is taking his 20 misses out shopping in OZ & around the world. Thanks to the world donations. Team Hun Sen is making good use of his Cambodian Tax Free exemptions to promote his care for Cambodian abroad.
If only those Evicted families can get access to Hun Sen & his misses houses for some of his Tax Free Exemptions?

Dear sir Congressman,

Please let the Cambodians (whether in Cambodia or in the States) be. This is one pot that should not be stirred over much. It has been stirred too many times and by too many people. In the end, that pot was often left to spill uncared for.

While Congressman Kennedy's intention to bring attention to Mr. Hun Sen's damaging policies is honorable, his tone guarantee no responses and no possibilities of getting Mr. Hun Sen to take his concern seriously.

May I remind the Congressman that under Mr. Hun Sen's rule (althought undemocratic and less tolerance to opposition at time)Cambodian-Americans are able to travel and visit Cambodia in relative safety as well as being welcome and encouraged to helping their less fortunate relatives.

Also, may I remind the Congressman that Mr. Hun Sen is the leader of 13 million people and whether one agrees or disagrees with his policies, he should be treated as such. To do otherwise is countered to the Congressman objective.

The Chinese appears to have great successes with the Cambodian. Why are the Cambodian listening to the Chinese and often time giving the American the cold shoulders?

You know so much about AH HUN SEN and all the good things he did for Cambodia and Cambodian people! How do you explain when AH HUN SEN allowed million and million of illegal Viet to come and live in Cambodia? If AH HUN SEN one day decided to restrict any movement of Cambodian people this bastard will spark the fucken civil war and not even he can and the mother of all Vietcong can stop it! Cambodia belong to every Cambodian people not just for AH HUN SEN! In case you didn't know, It is AH HUN SEN who is the one that agree to stop the fucken civil war with United Nations! Otherwise the fucken civil war would still be going until now!

The only Cambodian people who listen to the Chinese is AH HUN SEN and you! You live in a free democratic country and listen to the Communist Chinese? Are you telling me that Cambodian people haven't been through the communist system long enough? I tell what Cambodian people had been through the communist hell and back! Cambodia swear that it will never happen again!

Why Cambodian listen to the chinese? It is because, we love lie and deception than the true. Most of us have no idea what it likes to live the life of whatever we want to live or do thing whenever we please. We love being control by others. We cann't think for ourself or make up our own mind. We are waiting for someone else to do it for us. Our mother or father may be. It's happening since the day we were born. We are afraid of everything. We cann't do it ourself. We believe that it's wrong to do it on our own.

Beside, all Khmer ever know during this past 30 years is a gun point and rock buttom poor. You do it or you die situation. We khmers surrendered to the killer and accepted it as a good way of life.

Go ahead and believe the communist or the ching chong. Soon or later, you are going to get locked up in their cage. Don't make me call you ape and tell you that you look great in that iron cage! I tell you what, your destination is the chinese zoo, Bud! Boo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
