The Vietnamese army are back in Cambodia - under the name of Viettel (a VN-military-owned company)

Viettel exports VoIP service to Cambodia
15/08/2006

VietNamNet Bridge – The Ministry of Planning and Investment on August 10 granted an investment licence to Viettel for operations in Cambodia.

Under the 20-year licence, Viettel is allowed to set up a wholly Vietnamese owned company in Cambodia.

This firm, with investment capital of more than US$1.06 million, will establish and exploit a telecom network using VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) technology to provide telephone and other value added services in Cambodia.

Viettel plans to provide VoIP services in Cambodia in late August 2006. This is the first Vietnamese firm to provide telecom services abroad.

wonder why Cambodia is not moving forward?

becuase Cambodia won't let Cambodia grow. Cambodia would rather use other countries product instead of Cambodian own product.

MADE IN CAMBODIA.. is that too radical ?

Bravo! Vietnamese troop is once more back in Cambodia. This time comes with business like investment for 20 years. Thank you to F***cking Hun Sen government. Now, think of your freedom of corespondend and expression through internets and telephones. Now think of those who try to liberate Vietnam from Communist. Now think of your democratic manoeuvres. This strategy will make Hun Sen government and CPP more controll than ever with the help of Vietcong.

I used to work in the Internet Service Provider before and man there are so many information that the ISP can use to track down their customers! If the information get into the wrong hand, all Cambodian people who use the Viettel are fuck!

This is not a warning! You are dealing with the Vietcong military apparatus! The Vietcong are number one at stealing American technology espcially scientific computer programs! Does 3C program ring a bell with anyone here?

AH HUN SEN deserve to be assassinated!

The VN may have lost the 1980s war with the KR, but they won the peace through their firm grip on the CPP. They are in control of many major industries under Khmer names, including oil and access to the Temples in Siem Reap, as well as commanding key positions in the police and the armed forces.

A quick trip around Phnom Penh, one can see the growing number of VN immigrants and companies in the capital and beyond. One by one, our key industries will be falling into their hands with the help of our important ruler whose families and relatives are also shareholders in those front companies.

All the ministries have been set up to protect the national interests in relevant sectors. However, our beer-belly and corrupt ministers are too busy escorting our important ruler to make uncivilised speeches here and there instead of doing their jobs. What's new in Cambodia?

There is a disturbing trend in Cambodia. AH HUN SEN and the Vietcong are doing business together to take advantage of poor Cambodian people! All business contracts must be reviewed to reveal the hidden face of the Vietcong!
