(Kyodo) - A Cambodian security guard committed suicide inside the Japanese Embassy in Phnom Penh, police officials told Kyodo News on Thursday.
Ty Bunleng, 48, was found dead at 7 a.m. by his colleagues during a shift changeover, the police said.
He apparently jumped to his death from a 20-meter-high water tank on the premises, according to the police.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the motive for the suicide was related to a family dispute.
