Nhiek Bun Chhay’s office announces emergency

After Prime Minister Hun Sen declared that in the coalition with Funcinpec, he will work with secretary-general Nhiek Bun Chhay (and not with Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, Funcinpec’s historical president), Nhiek Bun Chhay also known as Ta 88 (grandfather 88) or Mé Chhay (Chief Chhay) requested to replace 19 Funcinpec officials in the government and the nomination of dozens of other provincial governors and deputy governors.
Seeing that Nhiek Bun Chhay has the power to arrange and nominate Funcinpec officials in the government, and the fact that Hun Sen is resolving these demands immediately, Funcinpec party leaders have gathered to try to meet Nhiek Bun Chhay day and night, some have with them wine bottles, envelopes, fruit baskets, some even took the secretary-general to Karaoke bars every evening. Sometimes, they spend the whole night listening to music.
In Nhiek Bun Chhay’s villa, across from the Chrauy Changvar bridge, there is no parking left for visitors anymore. An official working at Nhiek Bun Chhay’s office asked Sralanh Khmer to help relay the following message to Funcinpec leaders who want to meet Nhiek Bun Chhay: for all those Sahachivin and Sahachiviny (men and women comrades) who want to meet Mr. Nhiek Bun Chhay to obtain a position, or who want to preserve their position until the end of the rectangular government mandate, please do not bring anymore wine, fruit baskets, or anything else for the secretary-general. All that they need to bring is only a[stuffed] envelope because his villa no longer have room to store wine, fruit baskets, and souvenir objects any more.
Furthermore, the official working at Nhiek Bun Chhay’s office also requested that all officials wanting to meet with Nhiek Bun Chhay should share their rides in a car (2 or 3 per car would be good), should they come one person per car as they did before, there is no parking space available. Also for those who want to take the secretary-general to a reception or to sing in Karaoke bar, they should make a reservation 2 to 3 days ahead so that there is no schedule conflict.
It is strictly forbidden to meet Chief Chhay before 8:00 AM because the secretary-general needs some time to rest after all the meetings with the numerous Sachivin and Sahachiviny.

He is also known to make a gift to women who can sing the song: “Love only the older ones.” If there is any singer who would sing this song, Nhiek Bun Chhay would order his juniors to provide a gift of $10, 20, or $50 immediately.

Reading on Mon nation in Burma, I am seeing Khmer in Cambodia will be like Mon Burma--turning Khmer into a minority group in Cambodia. It is already a fact with Khmer Krom in Kampuchea Krom(south Vietnam) and Khmer Leur in Surin....how about Khmer Kandal????
Look at Hun Sen and CPP, Rannaridh, Nhiek Bun Chow!!! are womanizers...and sold nation for their egos and selfishness...all these losers are working in the interest of our enemies...destroying Khmer nation.

Is Sralanh Khmer a trustworthy newspaper? I think it is better to think about our people positively rather than negatively. To be equal with someone, we should develop ourself rather than pulling someone down.
Similar old stories with Funcinpec, nothing new. Their leadership is totally corrupt and manipulated by the CPP for quite some time now. Money is the root of all evils, and the CPP has plenty of it to make rain and storm in the Cambodian politics.
Leading Funcinpec members know that their party is breathing like a cricket now. They become scavenging birds feeding on the remains of any corps they can find, including their own kind. They no longer work for the country of their birth, they are just opportunists at the mercy of the CPP.
This is what I don't understand! Cambodian people love AH HUN SEN because he has alot of money? Cambodian people tend to forget that AH HUN SEN start out in politic with nothing! No money, No killing, and no bitch to please him! He got a big break when the Vietcong installed him in power, then came Uncle SAM help him to stay in power until now!
The Vietcong and Uncle SAM gave this bastard HUN SEN a chance to become what he is right now! But does AH HUN SEN ever give Cambodian people a chance to live as human being? Of course not!
At the end, Cambodian people have only two choices! The first choice, Cambodian people can continue to love AH HUN SEN as dicatator! The second choice, Cambodian people can continue to watch AH HUN SEN making million and million of dollars and take all those money put in the foreign bank while Cambodian people continue to live like animal! I am sure Cambodian really love these two choices!
Nhek Bun Chhay, you are not clearly to know Hun Sen's behavour and your future will go the same as Tun Chay, Ieng Moly, Phun Pheap.

The way I look at it, It is the same way as we live under Pol Pot.
No one dare fighting ah Tmil Pol Pot's soldier. They had gun. We don't. We have to be deaf, blind and dump in order to survive. Those people don't reason thing out. All they know was making us busting our rear ends at work and at the rice field under rain, storm and lighting with very little to eat. All the time, I had to tell myself that those Pol Pot soldiers were not Khmers and not a human, but some pretender brain washing-programing to deadly afraid of their higher up just like some kind of a robbot.. Those higher up were so mysteriuos, but they were there like our shadow. Cambodian inside Cambodia today is the same way. They perhap don't want to make trouble. They must want total peace or else they have no choise and this is what they got: a stupid and arrogant leader to worship everyday whether they like it or not. Helping them means telling and complaining to no end and making sure we are telling and complaing to the right person. For now just go with the flow and keep educating our people about the free world and democracy and their power of geting rid of a stupid Government that they don't want by voting them out! They need to really know that. They are not under Communist Pol Pot anymore. They must be able to see the different and be able to do different thing from they use to be. They are not paralized. they can walk to the pole. If they want change, each and everyone of us that are living close to them, please tell them to say So and going to vote! and Do it in the year of 2008! All of you ladies and gentleman who think you are capable of runing a country and running better, let yourself be the one, let it be known, start adverticing yourself. You got a year and half to do it. Let's make it happens and make it happens for better Khmers future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
