KUALA LUMPUR: Former Cambodian police chief Heng Pov, who has been on the run since August, has been arrested in Subang Jaya.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the fugitive cop at a luxury hotel, where he was believed to have been staying for several days, at about noon on Tuesday.
A Cambodian police team arrived here yesterday in connection with Heng Pov's arrest.
However, it was not known whether Heng Pov would be handed over immediately to Cambodian authorities as Malaysian police have yet to complete their investigations.
Heng Pov is wanted in Cambodia in connection with two assassinations and three attempted murders.
He entered Singapore on July 23 and was arrested on Sept 1 for overstaying. Singapore authorities deported him on the same day to Malaysia.
Cambodian Ambassador to Malaysia Princess Norodom Arunrasmy, currently in Berlin, has been informed of the arrest.
Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Musa Hassan who confirmed the arrest said, Heng Pov was arrested under the Immigration Act.

If HENG Pov is sent back to Cambodia, he will be forced to accept all the bloody actions which were commited by HUN Sen and HOK Longdy. Therefore, one important witness for Cambodian people will be lost.
Please help Cambodian people, do not send HENG Pov back to the bloody Government.
no more hope for us all...lost dreams for Khmer people if Heng Pov is deported back to Hun Sen's aligator farm. If this is going to happen to him, fuck reading news about Khmer man....wast of fucking times. for what???? just make you sad beacause there's just no hope. YOu can't win HunSen.

if the world really ignore what Heng Pov said, then we all have to speak to this UN, world, will be on responsible for all the losts of cambodia.
Please help Cambodian people, don't send Heng Pov bask to Cambodia, if he will go back, he will be kill by Hun Sen and Hoc Lundy.
