Battambang court announces Thursday that it has temporarily released 2 generals, while one general is still being questioned.
One-star general Kheang Savorn, 46, two-star general Uth Sakhan, 48, and two-star general Men Saran, 49, were believed to have been involved in "weapon robberies" and conspiracy to commit armed robbery, Sao Sokha said.
On Thursday, the court releases Kheang Savorn and Uth Sakhan on the grounds of insufficient evidence. Meanwhile, Men Saran is waiting for the court to clear his name. Investigation is underway to clarify of his involvement in the alleged weapon robberies.
The three generals, whom have links to the SRP and Funcinpec party are claimed to have ties to the 18 robberies occurred in Battambang province.

Why release them if they committed crime? Show the people that you are serious in fighting crime. Show us some evidences connecting them to the alleged crime? Why arrested them and release? Or is it just a tactic to send a message of frightening in general?

Heng Pov was one of Hun Sen's Sr. adviser, and he took orders from Hun Sen to kill people. The reasons
Heng Pov was accused was that Nguyen Van Son aka Hoc Lundy & Heng Pov were fighting for power, and since Hun Sen and Hoc are related by marriage, so they two Hun Sen and Hoc Yuan Lungdy eliminated Heng Pov. It is Communist style. In facts all of them Hun Sen, Hoc Lungdy or Nguyen Van Son, & Heng Pov committed crimes. You are to extreme biased toward the Communist Yuan Hanoi, and you don't care about the future consequnces of others or yourself.
