Prime Minister Hun Sen Wednesday files serious charges against Cambodian former King Norodom Sihanouk's son-in law, Khek Vandy of creating conflicts between his CPP party and ruling King Norodom Sihamoni.
Former King Norodom Sihanouk states, in an electronic message, that according to his son-in law, the Cambodian prime minister is not too please with the country’s current King, because King Norodom Sihamoni is prone to his father’s advises.
At a conference today, Prime Minister Hun Sen wants Khek Vandy to make a public apology, saying that his vile comment is unacceptable.
Khek Vandy is a member of the Funcinpec party and a legislator in Takeo province.

Do they realy fight ?
If you all lie and trick, may lightning strike you at hight-noon.
Just to keep you excited; the news in Cambodia has rather been slow and boring lately.
And how do we know that the retired king did not make up the whole story, and use his son-in-law as a sacrificial lamb for the excitement?

What kind of a leader is ah chker khvack pneak m-khang Hun Sen? Doesn't he has other important things to do beside filing charges and threatening people? What a moron! Would someone shoot that one eye dog for me please?
Okay, now I understand this case
better. The bloody VOA (below)only
report a small part of this story.
I hated when the stupid media does
that.
Here we have a case where the
CPP is trying to keep good
relationship with other branch of
government, and the idiot (Khek
Vandy) has to fabricate stupid
story that would lower the trust
and relationship between the King
and the CPP. That is unbelievable.
Don't that fool (Khek Vandy) have
anything better to do? If I were
him, I would appologize and kiss
and make up and move on. I hope
he is smart enough not to let
this incident divide the country
any deeper than it already is.
While Cambodia has many problems to resolve, powerful PM Hun Sen should terminate Khmer Monarchy, and place the Khmer Palace as tourist site.
By doing so, the Country has solved one futile case and instead of spending national budget on the ex-king ,the current king ,and their cronies, Cambodia has some revenues from the Palace tourism.
To Anon. 8:57 AM,
There is no guarantee that Cambodia will get the revenue from turning the royal palace into a tourist attraction. For all you know, Hun Sen will give it to his friend Sok Kong to sell the entrance tickets and pocket the fee for Sokimex ... and Hun Sen himself.
Very interesting idea Post8:57.
To Anon. 9:29 AM ,
I somewhat agreed with you,but
at least Cambodia will receive 3 percents from its revenue based on my liberal estimate of 97 percent that Hun Sen Government will give its fee to Sok Kong and their corrupted officials, and the country will no longer to provide the welfare money for the royal family.
So what type of damages will that
do to Cambodia. How many dead would
you estimate for the first year.
Just to bring FUNSUNPEC in to the news. It is a dead party dood.
Hun Xen want FUNSONPEC to look a live, to scare the CPPs, who do noy like him.
