A Cambodian union leader has been shot dead as he left a clothes factory on the outskirts of Phnom Penh.
Police say Hy Vuthy died in hospital after being shot by two unknown gunmen.
The 34-year-old was the Sun Text garment factory's union leader.
He was a member of the nation's biggest union, the Free Trade Union of the Workers of the Kingdom of Cambodia, which voiced concern that he might have been killed because of his work.
The garment industry accounts for 80 percent of Cambodia's export earnings and draws the most foreign investors.
But labour issues continue to plague manufacturers, who complain that the government is failing to regulate unions.

30,000+ jobs each year.
Clearly his dead don't even
equated to the suffering that he
caused.
No need to look for the murderers. Let the Cambodian people just arrest Hun Sen and Hoc Lundy and question them, they will have the answer to all those kind of crimes. Would they be happy to end being killed like that? I bet not!! How can they still look at their face on a miror everyday when they have so much blood on their hands? They must beleive in nothing then their power and the power of money aren't they feering for hell?

IF YOU EVER WANT TO LIVE, NEVER GO TO CAMBODIA HOSPITALS. ESPECIALLY, ONE FOUND IN PP, BECAUSE IT'S A MORGUE. THE HOSPITALS ARE THERE AS A FUNERAL HOME, NOT A PLACE TO SAVE PEOPLE.
