The road ahead will continue to be difficult for the SRP because it goes again the establishment. But that is only natural for reformer like Sam Rainsy. In Mexico it took nearly 75 years before the ruling party was defeated.
But in the end, democracy and justice will blow away the world of darkness. Make sure you are on the right side because the future is us. Either the CPP reforms or it will exstint.
We know that the candle represents the SRP's motto which promotes within the party the three Buddhist virtues: "Siladharma, Sattyadharma and Yuttidharma". Without these three virtues, Khmer society would have lived in turmoil, oppression, suffering, inequality, injustice, hopelessness and darkness. In reality, Khmer society would live in and experience the same degree of turmoil, oppression, suffering, inequality, injustice, hopelessness and darkness as it has experienced during all the years Cambodia is under the iron grip of the CPP if SRP won and rule one day. Why? Because Sam Rainsy never wants to serve Cambodia and her people's interests. He only aims at denigrating the monarchy and avenging Sihanouk for the death of his father, the late Sihanouk's right-hand man Sam Sary. SRP supporters are generally too young to understand fully Cambodia's 1950s history. Only Sihanouk and Sam Rainsy know what happened back then.
The Royalists have nothing to worry from SRP. Its greatest enemy is not SRP but the Royalist themselves. With few exceptions, they are motivated only by greed for power, money, and prestige and titles.
We cannot indict SRP without evidents and compare SRP to the CPP for Sam Rainsy was the first to speak openly against corruption, the culture of impunity and injustice when he was Minister of Finance. Guest who helped CPP kicked Sam Rainsy out?
I am willing to give SRP the benefit of a doubt and hope that they will manage the country better compare to past Khmer leaders.
It's time for Rainsy to stand uphimself to confront the past of his late father,Laukta Sam Sary,with his king Sihanouk.
If he still knees down...he is better going back to France where he can enjoy the rest of his life.

How can Sam Rainsy stand up for any political ideal whilst he is under the spell of his wife Tioulong Saumura? And his wife has a good reason to cast a spell on him because actually Sam Rainsy is a ruthless womaniser. A lot of young and beautiful girls working in textile and clothing factories fell as birds of prey for Rainsy's sexual appetite and then dumped to live in misery by themselves afterward. In this regard and in the regard of corruption, stubbornness and authoritarianism, Sam Rainsy = Hun Sen. Only time will tell!!!
