Whether Monic of Sihanouk Vietnamese or not, I have never accepted her as my great grandmother. Neither Monic or nor Sihanouk is my ancestor.

Do you know many American Veteran would love to spit on Jane Fonda's face? and it could be very well the same goes with Queen Monique.
If we study Queen Monineath carefully, she is a woman of great patient.
Princess Arun Reasmey was born after King Sihamoni and his brother Narindrapong. We know who HRH and HRH brother's mother was.
Didn't it say that The old King at least trying to get away from her one?
The Queen as always, looks content and lets thing bothering her little.
Like flower and the dew, The old King & The Queen ( whatever her nationality was/ she was born in Cambodia/ her mother was born in Cambodia and all the Oum's last name in the royal family were born out of the Queen's mother, Mrs. Pom? " Apple in French ") love each other truely or it seems that way.
Oh well, at least we know, our present King was born out of love and happy union between the two people in front of our very own everyday's lives. It's undeniable.
Queen Monineath perhap will be the only soul sitting right next to The Old King's body, before he is saying good bye to this world forever.

Once last curiosity. Did you, Queen Monique ever course the Old King for sleeping with the Laoian's woman? or Can you cry and hurt like us?
We never see you cry either.
King Sihanouk like the raging fire underneath needs Monineath, a chill out look and personality to calm him down or set him at peace.
None can do anything about it. Not his previous wives. Princess Pongsanary for example: had 7 children with him. Prince Chakrapong, Prince Jouveneath and Princess Botum Bopha were among her famous kids with the old King. They didn't help much and not The old Queen Kossamak either. She could do nothing, but let Sihanouk enjoying his happiness with Monique.
Finally, he was able to make the only woman he loves most "Queen" officially and her son, " King " officially.
Our old King's last wishes perhaps hope to die in peace. Queen Monineath and King Sihamoni like wise, no one really know of their future without him. Althought, We like to wish them good luck!
