A long article of the Sralanh Khmer newspaper (March 16, 2007 edition) is attacking me with horrible and very contemptuous, and insulting slanders which distort the History of our Country as well as destroying very unjustly my honor and that the Khmer Monarchy of the 20th and 21st centuries.
I had never been an assassin, a corrupt [person], a man owning the smallest fortune, a traitor.
Samdech, in the name of N. Sihanouk, please send an official complaint to our National Justice, against this Sralanh Khmer newspaper, and against the author of this article which is so contemptuous and so unjust towards me.
Please find for me and for this lawsuit, volunteer Khmer lawyers who are qualified and who love the truth and justice. Please bring the lawsuit, in my name, against the diabolic director and reporter of Sralanh Khmer.
On her side, H.M. N. Monineath is asking you the same thing. But with a separate lawsuit.

You have already expressed Your intention to take legal action against slanders thrown at Her Majesty Queen-Mother Monineath Sihanouk by Sralanh Khmer, a local newspaper. That is Your right and also Queen-Mother's right to seek legal redress to an unfounded accusation. However, as an ordinary Khmer citizen, I would like to also exert my right to know the following:
1- Why did You start establishing strong bilateral ties since 1960 on one hand with the North Vietnamese communist leadership and on the other with the Viet Cong formally known as the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam? What was the reason behind that undertaking?
2- Why did You cut off all econonic aid from the US in 1963? Was it because You wanted to simply please Your newly-found friends no matter how poor and how desperate for help Your Kaun Chao were?
3- You have told the whole world that the event of 18 March 1970 was a putsch or a treasonous act perpetrated by Lon Nol, Sirik Matak, In Tam and Cheng Heng. In Fact, Lon Nol did send an official delegation headed by HRH Prince Norodom Kantol to beg Your Majesty to come back home so as to help solve the problem of full scale infiltration deep inside Cambodia by North Vietnamese and Viet Cong troops. Unfortunately, Your Majesty refused categorically to come back. I would humbly like to know why?
4- The overwhelming majority of Khmer people suspect that it was Your Majesty who created the Khmer Rouge. Why? Simply because You, from Beijing, called upon Your Kaun Chao to join Hou Yuon, Hu Nim and Khieu Samphan in the jungle in their fight agaisnt the Americans and their valets Lon Nol, Sirik Matak, In Tam and Cheng Heng. Can Your Majesty answer to this allegation? Or can Your Majesty volunteer to go to the ECCC to clear Your name once and for all? You are known the world over as extremely intelligent. So I doubt very much that You go to the ECCC as You have boldly proclaimed long ago.
5- Why did Your Majesty allow Your Son King Baromneath Norodom Sihamoni whom You love so much to sign the additional treaty to the 1985 Treaty on 30 November 2005? Was it part of Your plot secretly planned since 1960 to sell Cambodia to Hanoi? Again, only the ECCC can clear Your name in this regard. Respectfully yours.

There is no need to file law suit against a helpless Newspaper. All you need to do is to provide the geneology of your wife, Monique, her mother, Madame Pomme Peang, and her grand mother, Yeay Ouk, (and if possible her great grand parents) to rebut the claim of the newspaper and tell the whole world once and for all what the truth is. I know the truth could sometimes be hurtful when it is not desirable to reveal. But, this is what a charismatic prince and a civilized person should do. Don't be like a turtoise which tends to hide in its shell when attack. Be brave like a prince.
Hi King! Under your regime you declaered Cambodia neutral in international affair. But you were siding with communist China and support CV ( Viet Cong )and you allow Viet Cong troops to use Cambodia territory to fight against US in South Vietnam and kill innocent Khmer people in side Cambodia.
