1- My “Royal crusade” for the total Independence of Cambodia (1952-1953).
2- My fight for the total Liberation of Cambodia which became a US “satellite” and which was martyred, partially annexed by the Republic of South-Vietnam of the Generals Nguyen Van Thieu and Nguyen Cao Ky from Saigon. 5-year fight at the head of the FUNK (National United Front of Kampuchea). From March 23, 1970 to April 17, 1975.
3- Fight at the head of the GCKD (Coalition Government of Democratic Kampuchea, government legally recognized by the UN) against the military (and colonialist) occupation of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam [SRV] of my Homeland for 10-year (1979-1989). I personally started this fight at the head of the GCKD only in 1982 and I stopped fighting against the SRV starting in 1987 because, along with Samdech Hun Sen and the CPP, we could, starting from 1987, return Cambodia to Independence through peaceful and reconciliation mean between Khmer people, and with friendship, (and) mutual respect with the SRV, which stopped its military and colonialist occupation of Cambodia in 1989.
4- During a lunch (in Beijing) on March 4, 2007, my Wife (Queen-Mother N. Monineath) said to me: “Your 3 highly patriotic achievements, no one will be able to “remove” them from History.”

The CPP did not come into existence until the UN-sponsored peace and reconciliation process in 1992, when the KPRP decided to change its name. Why did you stop? and why Ah Vietcong continue to run around in our land until this day? To us it looks like your are bowing your head to them as thought they are your master. That included your son's stupid PM.
Preh Maha King, are you sure stopped fighting in 1987????? I was a small guerrilla and served for KP. I knew and remembered that the fighting between GCKD and Hun Sen's Govt was so hot between 1987 and 1990. Why King Sihanouk showed off that he stopped fighting to Hun Sen's govt in 1987? My young brother was solider and fighted for Royalist Faction which led by King Sihanouk. My brother and I are the witnesses that the fighting still till 1990. It seems to me that since the beginning and till present Preh Maha King Cambodia NEVER recognized and acknolwedged his involvement and mistake of Cambodian armed conflict. This is a problem of Cambodian leaders that they never accepting of their leading mistake to the nation and the people.
Sihanouk is Yuon he want to transfer Cambodia to Vietnam in a long term transitional way. First Sihanouk needs to get rid of Khmer by convey them to join him than lead them to fight and died.
I agree 8:02am. Remember he said he fought with the south Viet not the north viet, which he openly allowed them to use our land for war. Rapped our people of food, killing them freely and King Sihanouk did nothing to stop it. And why did he stop fighting? Maybe because he knew he couldnt win against Hun Sen Viet cong military. Khmer Rouge only had peasant, elementary kids as military that were use to kill helpless, unarmed civilians. To save his face again he bowed to Hun Sen. Stop your lying King Sihanouk. You are so notorious with your lyings. You like to use every propaganda to hype up your followers to die for you, but for what? You say for our country, freedom, peace.
