Congratulation CPP !!!

By Jayakhmer
Op-Ed Posted online

The recent commune election forecasts again a mixed sense of hope, frustration, and despair. No, I do not have any problem with the election. I lauded CPP for its effort to campaign and won the heart and mind of the people - whatever strategy they may have deployed. Winning is winning. What concerns me, and the rest of us love Cambodia for that matter, is what will happen after the election.

I am hopeful that CPP with the people's mandate will do the right thing. What is the right thing? The right thing is not just the measurement of progress. It is the positive measurement of progress. Take for example, from the time CPP takes the responsibility of governing Cambodia to the next election, let us further say from 2008 to 2013. What is the positive measurable progress in 2013 in these areas of economic development, environment, administration, human rights, social justice, health, and border issue? In other words, by 2013 we should ask this question, "Is Cambodia better in 2013 than when CPP took the office in 2008?" If measurable progress is made for these areas, I will, then, join CPP to celebrate its election victory.

For now, CPP will only get my fake smile when I say "Congratulations!!!"

"It has to get better," I kept telling myself. The frustration is when change does not seem to happen. There is an egregious opportunity cost every time someone in the government bends a rule to profit him/herself or his/ her family. Government must understand that civil servants cannot survive or live in dignity with the kind of salaries they mandate to receive from the government. Our next generation will not be able to compete in the global economy if they are not properly educated or trained. Our land is so precious, full impact analysis must be done before a contract is given or a treaty is signed. Do not just do it in the name of economic development. When it feels like a fish, it smells like a fish, it is highly likely will be fish. It is fishy when the Vietnamese government is all a certain focuses on economic development in Cambodia.

It is despair when people continue to loose their land upon which they build their livelihood. It is despair when public education is no longer has dept and credibility and when a diploma is not even worth the paper it printed on. It is despair when the most popular topic political discussion is "corruption." It is despair, frankly, when I have to write this kind of paper after what should be a joyous celebration in democracy.

CPP is capable and should take this golden opportunity to meet the challenges and mandate of the people.

If the fucken CPP dog is not a sore loser why then the CPP clan still hang on to military and police????

Why not have a level playing field and take away those military and police and the CPP dog can claim their fucken victory!!!!

How much longer will stupid Cambodian people continue to vote for AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave former Khmer Rouge without seeing any improvement in their life!!!That doesn't make any sense!!!!

Oh well! Stupid Cambodian people were condition to think like a baby elephant!!! Any elephant trainer knows that the baby elephant must keep under control with a very strong heavy chain from escaping and as the baby elephant get older, big, and strong, this same elephant can be tie with just a simple small rope! Why is there such a change from a very strong heavy chain to a small rope because the elephant know long time ago that when its was a baby it couldn't break free no matter how hard it tries and so this elephant is being condition to believe that it couldn't break free even if the rope is the size of a yarn!!!

Stupid Cambodian people are being condition like baby elephant and they continue to believe in some fuck up concept!!!!

Cambodian people need to be radicalized...

Fair enough article, and I am
certain that Cambodia will
continued to improve exponentially
as it currently does. Moreover,
as I have stated time and time
again, and again, the change will
be a lot more noticeable after
2010. That is just the nature of
exponential function, and you
can't change physic.

On the other hand, I also like to
urge all oppositions to put the
election behind us and unite the
country for the good of the nation
and themselves. By working together, you can accomplished
many things for the people; which
in turn, you can used your
achievements to gain more voters.
This is the only way, that is a
win-win for everyone. There is
no other way. Don't try to cheat
the Khmer people, or you will lose
all your investments, effort, and
times.

I had seen on TV many Westerners such as White American and European became advisors to AH HUN SEN who get paid in million of dollars!!!This is very disturbing.
It is disturbing because many of the policy carry out by AH HUN SEN doesn't reflect the will of Cambodian people!!!!

I can assure you that Cambodia is increasingly becoming more like African country in all field such education, living of standard, corrupted politic, substandard healthcare, poor housing, the way they get their food source,...Cambodian people under AH HUN SEN leadership live very dirty and I mean dirty!!They live so fucken dirty from top to bottom!!!God damn!!!

But this I know for sure, Cambodian people will never survive as a race if these Cambodian people were to live in Africa because of the harsh environment!!

Five more years or 10 more years even 20 more years of AH HUN SEN leadership, Cambodia will completely become an African country!!!I remembered what Cheveron oil company did to Nigeria and now it is Cambodia turn to become Nigeria!!!

These days AH HUN SEN is preaching about everything that he does for Cambodia is for the sake of peace and stability but I can assure you that all AH HUN SEN policy doesn't reflect the will of the Cambodian people!!!!

Many dictators around the world always win by a landslide but at the end they always chase out of power by the will of the people!!!

I told you the dark cloud is forming but nobody is listening!!!

As I said, if you don't do the
right things, you will lose all
your times and efforts, and you
only have yourself to blame. Be
wise and unite the people for
the good of the nation, and you
will get even better result
in the future elections. Try it,
what do you have to lose by doing
the right thing for Cambodia?
