Hun Sen: Lack of violence and disputes during the '07 commune election is the result of the application of the CPP policy of tolerance

Prime Minister Hun Sen expressed his gratitude, especially to the armed forces, the people, as well as the CPP party workers who contributed to the good unfolding of the 01 April election day, and who also refrained from sneering other parties who received low number of votes. He also said that the party which won the most votes (CPP) also refrained from sneering or criticizing parties which received low number of votes. Hun Sen made these remarks during the inauguration of a road in Sihanoukville on 04 April 2007. He also thanked CPP party members for putting into application the policy of tolerance that allowed the safe unfolding of the commune election, without violence and disputes taking place.
