Prime Minister Hun Sen warned the Sam Rainsy Party not to organize elections for village chiefs. The prime minister said that this would be a violation of the law and that this would not differ from an act of secession. During a speech given at an inauguration of a school in Phnom Penh, Hun Sen said: “I heard they want to organize an election for village chiefs, what is that? Do they want to form another sate? How many states does Cambodia have? 30? 40? Nothing has happened yet, they only get to control a commune or sangkat only, and they want to play with election which is against the law of the governance of the commune.” Hun Sen added: “Whatever they do, they must abide by the law. Already they want secede, but they cannot do it, they must follow the law. In any case, they cannot violate the law, if they violate the law by choosing to walk out of the bounds of the law, then it would be another issue that need to be dealt with.”

It is sad for all Cambodian people around the world to have a such ignorance leader like Hun sen to be the Prime Minister of their country. This man is equal to animal when he open his sting mouth. How can we implemente the full democracy system, if he wants to control every thing. In reality, he cannot interfer the job of the commune chef who just have been elected. They have their own mandate to do what they want in their local area. Hun Sen cannot sack them at all. They can only remove with another election in the next 5 years. Hun Sen must concentrate on his own position which is fighting with low salary to all public servants, fighting with all landgrabbers, fighting with criminals roaming public security, hight price of oil, drugs every where, and corruptions of all of his ministers.

Yes, you have the freedom and right
to do whatever you want so long it
doesn't violate any law. In this
case, there are laws against it, so
you must democratically amend the
necessary laws to support what you
want to do first before you can
proceed. Get it? Stop making
trouble here, will ya? Just follow
the standard democracy protocol.

to rob one another or something?
Sure we do, if there is no law
against it, but that is not the

There is no right or wrong, just
rule-of-laws to reckon with. Look,
the drawback in democracy is if
you want to do something you must
have opposition blessing. And
if they don't see eye2eye with you,
you may not get what you want, not
to mention it's usually slow as
hell. On the other hand, if you
like to get thing done fast your
way, then you want Autocracy, not
Democracy. So make up you mind,
what you want, or shut the fuck up.
Get it? I don't care neither one,
Although I am more leaning toward
Autocracy at this point because
we can't afforded to be so
inefficient. We don't have the
cashes.

Note: Just because you are an
Autocracy, it does not meant you
can't promote democracy for your
villages. Sihanouk did some of
that in a flash, not to mention
Autocracy China throws in 10
millions USD for the commune
election.
