The Cambodian prime minister complained that life as a prime minister is very difficult to show up in public, or wherever there is a crowd.
He said: “Others go to the Soriya market, the Lucky market, unlucky me only, I never get to go anywhere like others, if I were to go, wouldn’t there be a riot at the market? Therefore, all I can do is watch commercials [on TV]. Some people and a number of our government officials, they can go to the market, go out to eat noodles, drink coffee, as for me, when I want noodle, the time I get it, it’s already stale, what to do? [For me] to go to a hotel, it has to be a reception for guest.”
These are the words pronounced by the prime minister following a three-week absence where his officials claimed that he came down with a flu.
During the distribution of graduation diplomas at the Institute of Human Resource Development, in Phnom Penh, yesterday, the prime minister declared that he does not think that in the future, when he will be old, he could continue his position as prime minister forever.
Hun Sen said: “How long can one live? Let’s say this, for me, I think that I can live another 30 years, this is not bad, but it could happen. However, this does not mean that I can hold on to power for all the 30 years, the reason we are doing what we are doing now is that we only want to ensure for our children and grandchildren, the next generations, we must leave them good fruits, a good legacy so that they do not have to suffer like our generation did.”
Hun Sen, the Cambodian leader, held his position as prime minister since the 80s, since under the People’s Republic of Kampuchea (PRK) which was later renamed as the regime of the State of Kampuchea. Later on, he continued his prime minister position after the 1993 general election, and he held on to this position successively up until now. He declared that in his life as prime minister, he has a lot of experiences, in particular, he is imbued with 10 types of experiences which he dubbed: the 10 types of unbalanced visions. He said that all Cambodian prime ministers must know his 10 experiences in order to rule the country.
Yesterday, Hun Sen also indicated that among his 10 experiences, he admitted to one mistake which is related to the unbalance in the civil servants’ salaries.
Hun Sen said: “The needs, the living condition of our civil servants, of our soldiers, along with their salaries, there is no balance yet, not at all. We are currently making efforts to be frugal in our expenses, and increasing our revenues, in order to increase the salaries of our civil servants, soldiers, and also our teachers as well.”

You are totally wrong Hun Sen! There is no law to ban Prime Minister to go any where you want to go. The problem with you is that you have a lot of lives enemies. You have killed so many people. Therefore you are affraid of yourself to confront with your enemies. Look at President HU Jin Tao and PM Wen Jiao Bao of China, he has visited everywhere with a small number of entourages. Look at President Clinton, he visited every where around the world just like normal people. Look at PM Helen Clark, she visited any place people invite her. Please look at PM Tony Blair, he has declared he will step down soon for other people to take over. Sooner or later you will die. Therefore you need someone to take over before you die so that you can give the new PM some of your experiences too. Areak Prey

Hun Sen's strange speech is giving some clue about the rife inside CPP...let see what is going to happen next?
Actually, PM wanted to quit several
times since day1, but we persuaded
him into staying. Mua hahahaha!!!
Jey Yohhh ... Somdach Hun Sen.
Thank you for your sacrifices and
hard works for all khmers' well
being. And please, don't quit the
PM position no matter what. If
anyone give you trouble, just tell

Khmer people to build the
brightest future ever!
I't is Sad for him.
Nothing to fear but fear itself,FDR said.
Hun Sen suffers depression and impotence as Rani is getting older for his pleasure.
He cries foul to appease voters sympathy before 2008.Strong man is so afraid to even go to rest room alone.
Sad...
Somdach Hun Sen is afraid? That is
certainly an understatement. FYI,
the man has been where no man has
not been before in KR uniform, Dude.
My guess 10 visions are:
1.power
2.money
3.family clans along with associated gangs to the important positions.
4.secret deals with neighbors.
5.use stick and stone as the first choices.
6.use massive underground and spy network are a must at all cost.
7. reward people who support my cause and prison/kill them if they deviated
8. keep people just ot survive so my occassional gifts are precious for them.
9. Make people to understand that I will not tolerate my defeat.
10.Make foreigners to understand that I am the one who can open the door to everything in Cambodia.
I think Hun Sen is geting smart,he is not going to ran 2008 he will let his son Hun Maneth to replace him, and ran for 2008 Election.I don't mean to support him but for my opinion,I think we need a young people to our Leader.Comment by Bross Lob Sa Ti..Mass USA.
To 3:16PM!
Well said! I am second to that!
AH HUN SEN left nothing for the next generation of Cambodian children only debt in billion and billion of dollars from his wasteful spending and corruption!!!
If AH HUN SEN want to leave a good legacy for himself and he better pay his own debt!!!!
Ah Kwak is afraid to go to Lucky market or anywhere in Cambodia without Youn female escort agents to protect him. If he goes to the public, he will be get shot in the head like he shoots Cambodia singers and opposition people every day. I'm sure he will be killed in one hour.
He is CAMBODIAN MOST WANTED. LET'S SEND HIM TO HAVEN BEFORE HE RICHES 80. OTHERWISE, CAMBODIA WILL BELONG TO YOUN HANOI.
Alright then, 11:37, you go to
heaven first to let people know
that we are comming, okay?
I am sicken and tired of Ah Khvang's talking shit. This bastard have always been changing his words which we the people don't know how to trust this moron.
Hey, to move forward, one must
makes some changes, stupid.
It is not he wants to be or he does want to be. He is told by his NV master to stay or be 8 feet under durst. Viewers tell me if you are in his position what would you do.
Slave cannot quit. he must be sold
The solution is rather simple for PM HUN SEN if he want to go shopping, just DISGUISE yourself as woman or wearing MUSLIM garb from head to toe like all the women in AFGANISTAN do and shopping all day who the hell know? it look silly but hey......
how about wear DOUN as Ah yuon do?
In the past two days upon his recovery from an illness, Mr. Hun Sen seems to have came face to face with his mortality, and appears to be attempting to re-casting his warlord-like image into a more gentle man -- a grandfather like image, if you will.
When he indicated that "...illness..." deals equal blow to everyone regardless of his station or age in life, this seemed to be a clear indication that Mr. Hun Sen is attempting to demonstrate to the common Khmers that he is like them. Like them, he rationalized, that he is a victim of nature and her fickle hands.
Further, Mr. Hun Sen seem to carry this victimhood a bit further in his latest outburst regarding his inability to carry on with life in the manner that an anonymous person would live his daily life...such as eating noodle without fear of being riot upon...
Something has happended during his "illness" because this "illness" seemed to produce a desire within Mr. Hun Sen to seek understanding and compassion from his people.
If this is not enough, Mr. Hun Sen went so far as to admiting mistake regarding civil servants, military personals and their pay grade, etc..
This is, indeed, very unusual...Here we have a man, not long ago, boasted about being the "strongman" of Cambodia and had in one form or other played everyone within Cambodia as chess pieces. Now, he is complaining about not being able to eat noodle without being riot upon!!
Something is very wrong here..and whatever that is, we hope Mr. Hun Sen....will recover soon and to properly transfer power to the next leader so that Kambuja may continue its course of recovery...
Kambuja must continue to exist...with or without Mr. Hun Sen.
Nope, Somdach have always been good
khmer leaders from day1. He's still
felt the KR trauma just like many
of us do. Plus, I am sure he don't
mind stepping down, if he's
confident with anyone who can do
more than he can. So far, he
haven't seen nothing but bunch of
power hungry morons. How can anyone
irresponsibly hand over the country
to them to be destroy again and
again. We have leant our lessons
now, and we will not allowed
history to repeat itself anymore.
To 8:31AM! Vietcong sympathizer!
AH HUN SEN had been sleeping with the Vietcong since day one and he still is! Duh!!!AH HUN SEN feel shit about Cambodian people because he got Limousine,Car, airplane, helicopter, good food, good fine, and alot and alot of money in foreign bank!!!This is just another for AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave to buy more time before Cambodia will be sucked dry of natural resources!!!
AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave is very afraid to step down for fearing of his life and he had committed wrong toward Cambodia and Cambodian people!!!If AH HUN SEN Vietcong slave can wait and CAmbodian people can wait too!!!
The same way he go up will be the same way he come down!!!!Your Samdech HUN SEN need to enjoy all the fucken luxury that money can buy and there won't be anymore enjoyment when step down from power!!!!!ahhahhahahhahahhahha
Good wish to your Samdech HUN SHIT!
So what? we don't care what somdach
Hun Sen is doing so long he's
helping us to cope with hardship
and poverty. He can have a Boeing
747 if he wanted to. He can sleep
with Ithiopian hookers if wanted
to. He don't give a damn as long
we see more jobs and bussinesses
keep comming into Cambodia to
relieve millions of us. That is
all we are asking for. Is that too
hard for you to understand, you
piece of rotten meat?
To 12:08PM!
ahahhahahhahhahahhahahahha!
Remembered my words! AH HUN SEN the CEO of Cambodia will alway get paid over Cambodian people many time over and plus all the corruption money!!
You still don't understand fool! This is not even a job! Oh well! If you think it is a job then it is by your substandard!!!Even a fucken animal can get pay more than this!!!I am not kidding!! I guess Cambodian people are below animal!!!!!Well! Actually Cambodian are animal under AH HUN SEN job employment system!!!
You are sick, dude, to think that
somdach Hun Sen is rich from the
people back.
But alright, if you insist, just
how much to you think he paid
himself annually from all the
revenue?
PM HS, you are able to fine justice for Piseth pelika and other singer that has been killed? Bunrany, stop killing these women, you should looking at the rest of your mens used power over this womens. Example, Touch sreynick can tell it all.
We are very disappointed that Cambodia still have some of stupid guys as you all. What do you contribute for the country beside boasting at some one? If you really love Cambodian and Cambodia, you guy, if you have ability, try to give any idea that can contribute to develop our country.
I don't know how to say but what I want to share with you as a young generation is we need to be respectful to older generation. I can't use word like u guys even I am not really like Mr. Hun Sen. But pl try to understand him. He's not bad as you think...anyways he tries to help country...even with some benefits but still give us what we have nowadays. Late me share with you a little bit. I used to hate him very much because of people around thought me...but day by day I started to understand him ... sometime I ask myself If i were him I couldn't work because no time to relax or private...one more thing you need to remember and understand about politic ... we are poor and weak, you think strong an rich country really like and love or want to help us without any benefit, Remember he also Cambodian his family sons daughters grandchild, etc He loves his own country more than foreigner do... just try to work on and step by step develop our country with your knowledge
Sorry if I hurt you
